I've been using the services of Zipjet for several years and while there were some issues with late deliveries before there's nothing compared to what I experienced last month. They lost 2 silk blouses and an expensive wollen coat that I trusted them with. At first they were delaying the drop off and after 2 weeks they told me the stuff is lost. After a month of back and forth emails with customer support they issued a compensation for the items.
Used to be very good. Then lowered the prices, and started sending shirts back in the same state as they received them, Laundrapp - style. I would much prefer clean shirts at reasonable price vs dirty shirts at low price, unfortunately there is no app for that!
If you want to get your items back at least one day late and like to have your brand new jeans smelling like pee after their treatment, this is the service for you! I found out there are so many higher quality and much more reliable laundry places (actual stores) in London that do collection and delivery. Don't go for zipjet or you will be severely disappointed ... I have actually just found a very highly rated store near me (didn't take me long to look for it on Google map) that collects and delivers on the same day free of charge ! Prices are also good!
I've never used the service as it's not available in my area, but I held on to the app until they were. All I've received instead is notification spam telling me to place an order over and over again. Uninstalled.
they were good.. but this week they didn't turn up twice. when I raised the issue they only responded to my second complaint by just randomly booking a collection without telling me.. I only realised this when I opened the app. cancellation had also been disabled. I emailed them and they ignored it. they turned up collected my laundry from my wife who wasn't aware that I had booked with another laundry company.. I asked them to return my items. they have so far just ignored my emails.
Zipjet merged with Laundrapp and hiked their prices up enormously - from £15 for 8kg folded to £22.50 for 6kg folded. The customer service was always late and always dodgy, but this recent money grab is a disgrace. I understand costs increasing, but a 150% of the previous price for less work is greedy, especially after a merge with a larger company with more resources. The cost for a set of single sheets is ridiculous. I had to download the app to find out the new prices :/
4 out of 9 bookings have been cancelled at the last minute (sometimes after the timeslot they were supposed to collect). I will not use them anymore as they are too unreliable - I can never be sure my laundry will actually be collected.
Prices don't include VAT, negatively surprised when the final bill came. Also, charged extra 12£ (+VAT) for separate wash of colours vs whites while the driver never mentioned it is charged extra.
I have also had last minute cancellation issues, once after the guy was supposed to come for half the morning (meaning you can't go out). Unacceptable blase customer service.
The ads are all over London, especially on the underground. The service coverage.... Not really.
The app didn't saved my details. I prepared an order, then I switched to whatsapp after that everything was lost :(
All my shirts came back badly ironed. I needed to iron them again myself but ironing marks created after using this service made it difficult.
Got a code from running heroes which zipjet wouldnt accept. Then the app started glitching and wouldnt accept my postcode. Waste of time
superb service and saeed the driver who collects my shirts is the nicest guy you could meet. highly recommend zipjet
I've only had excellent service from zipjet. If you want £15 use the code TUDORB1
Londons dry cleaning service - yet doesn't cover zone 3
A spam notification a day keeps the user away.

Has gone from 5 stars to rubbish since the merger. Was excellent as a standalone. Consistently misses pick ups and deliveries. At this rate, the business is unlikely to survive much longer. 3 years of fantastic service, and then all thrown down the gutter. If you feel you've locked in customers, you should know better. Off to Laundryheap and Ihateironing we go. Permanently uninstalled today after yet another cancellation. That was the last straw. Goodbye Zipjet and good luck.
Ordered a few times (less than 5) from ZipJet and while the quality of work is decent - there's a serious issue with the company's drivers and timetable. Almost all of my drivers have been late (by hours not minutes) or I've been called saying the driver is in traffic or had a flat or some excuse. *Idea* - maybe have a backup driver? The last order was absolutely terrible and I've called it quits now with ZipJet. Had a delivery at 19.00 on a Sunday of important clothes for a meeting on Monday. Called saying driver can't come - what's the availability for tomorrow? "I have to be out the door at 07.30". Okay, we'll get it to you between 06.30-07.30 - we *promise*. No driver, no call, no nothing at 07.45. Left at 07.30, bought some clothes on the way and received a call at 09.30 - Driver's here. ZipJet calls to confirm when they can re-deliver. Next available slot is TUESDAY EVENING (2 days late). Thanks ZipJet but no thanks. Lots of "waived service fees" and discounts off, but I'd rather select a pickup and delivery time and have you stick to it rather than getting £5 off. Unreliable.
App has a 48 hour delay before pickup, totally useless, 80 hour total turnaround offer. Their SEO covers the internet and makes it impossible to find a service that is reasonable.
They are a fantastic service. Very professional, fast and punctual. Highly recommend.
Dreadful, not only didn't arrive at the pick up time, they then also couldn't make the drop off time without any heads up. In addition to this they refused any form of refund, and gave the impression they were doing you a favour by attempting to sort out their mess. Avoid at all costs
Top quality blazer got stolen/replaced by low quality. Their response was that their trust was first on their "rigorous" process, so customers come second . Starting by a detailed list of what they're taking could help and make their top notch quality processes... They cost me me 350 euros plus the bill. Run away!
Worst dry cleaning company. Terrible service or care about the customers, actually making dry cleaning more difficult than it has to be. Read the other reviews below if you arent sold. Steer clear of Zipjet
Such a convenient and efficient service. Will definitely use it again. Thanks Zipjet!
It's a brilliant idea and the service is very good but the app was designed by someone with an IQ of 4. It's totally counterintuitive and you have to navigate through 10 different sections only to be able to order something. Worst app ever.
