I have small business so spending $250 a month to receive approximately 16 potential recruits was very expensive for us... at the end of the second month my credit card was renewed and so they couldn't process the payment which is fine I didn't want to pay for another month anyway. The problem is if you don't continue to pay you cannot access the recruits you've already paid to receive so I can't even look up the recruits that I've been paying for for the last 2 months! Horrible customer service!
This app would be great if you could send you candidates messages. Any time I wanna message a candidate, I have to rush back to my computer to log in. This is extremely frustrating when they could just make messaging available through the app!?!? Come on ZIP Recruiter. All the $ we pay you, and simple things like messaging aren't possible. Fix this and I will rate this app 5 stars. Also maybe add a "schedule interview" option like indeed has
Just started using the app. I can review candidates who have applied for our posting, but it seems I can not access resumes to search myself. It's ok though because I have great perspectives thus far.
I had this thing for 6 days found 2 candidates, 1 drug user & 1 who couldn't be on time. The app doesn't allow you to look through resumes, on the website they were showing me resumes from 2-4 years ago. I PAID for this. Got on Facebook, in 1 day found 5 FOR FREE!! ZR is far more interested in getting more $$ from you, than finding you candidates. Responding to your response: That number didn't offer any solution, instead made excuses for outdated resumes & then expected me to pay more $$.
I was excited to start using zipRecruiter, but the email notifications are non- stop even after I've tried to unsubscribe. The jobs they keep suggesting are either complete scams or are not in the field I've been searching for. Oh and they won't let me delete my account without more of my info.
I just signed up for the mobile app. I'm really thrilled that I did! Great candidates pop up hourly & now I won't miss an opportunity to place "a perfect match" with a valued client. Thanks, Zip
Whenever I leave the app and re enter, it takes me to a job posting screen. I literally have to reinstall the app just to view candidates again. I loved spending money on ziprecruiter until they allowed false ads to be posted under my businesses name, and now the recruits I do have are hard to deal with.
It always says when I go to post a job, make sure you are connected to the internet or have data enabled. I am connected to my wifi and it won't move forward.
Great for quick review of candidates for multi-site organizations. Clean interface with intuitive design.
app is alright very basic, wish you could have the "email canidates", "message", and "hide candidate" section on the phone. Would make me want to use mobile more. As for now I never use it, just use my laptop for everything.
Easy to navigate. Provides quicker response to candidates; offer more dynamic way to recruit and schedule - shortening the life-cycle.
App feel like it was designed in the 2009 Extremely low functionality, can only do about 70% of what I'd expect from a Lite version of the app, let alone full Borderline useless, just use the site. $300 gets ya nuttin
By free trial what they really mean is they take all your info for free to make thier site look like it has lots of users. Then they charge heavily for fake resumes. No thank you. Back to INDEED I go.
If you are hiring and recruiting, you need this app. You can email, call and text from the app. Great job Zip!! I would give 10 stars if I could.
Installed it to give it a try and didn't eve get past the sign up process. It asked for a zip code and I live in Canada. Don't know if there's a Canadian version. Very unfortunate.

Every job opportunity that has contacted me was insurance or sales positions offering COMMISSION ONLY although advertising salery or hourly wages. This app has wasted a month of my job searching time.
Constant issues logging in and andeven though my request for help was answered quickly... I just attempted to sign in again to no avail.
So far, it's easy to use and helps to weed out irrelevant candidates quickly.
lack of support for the amount needed to use this software free trail is the bait, buyer beware.

Wants 319.00 dollars to post an ad for a month. Yet they claim I will have a candidate in one day!. LMAO, this company is a joke, going back to Indeed, will never even open a web page by zip recruiter again.

As a recruiter, it's important to be able to easily contact potential candidates for my job posts, and this app allows me to send emails easily to the candidates I'm interested in. Having the ability to text the candidates would be nice as well, if that's something the developers could look into. Otherwise, keep up the great work, guys!
