This has been a great app so far, feature rich and nice to configure. Working on the event server component at the moment to get the picture push notifications working. Installed on the phone last night and discovered today that there's also a great desktop counterpart as well available for free which is a fantastic value adder and a great incentive on the part of the developer. Many thanks for your work on this app, it's a pleasure to use and does exactly what I need it to.

Works, but it's not that much better than the web UI. Reviewing motion detected material works better on web UI since it auto-plays from event to event whereas in here you have to keep swiping to go from one event to the next. The brilliant timeline feature is also nicer on web UI. Maybe this will improve in future versions. edit: On the other hand, web UI doesn't resume gapless play at 2x rate but instead always resets to 1x. If you can implement both that would be great! Faster than 2x playback could be handy as well.

Not as good as the iPad version. On the iPad I can zoom through a video by dragging my finger along the progress bar, a 10 minute video can be reviewed in 10 seconds. The android version loads the video slower and does not fast forward as well as the iPad, I have to drag my finger very slowly across the progress bar otherwise it does not update.

Functions exactly like it does on the desktop. Fantastic. Wish it would automatically switch to whichever camera has an alert while cycling though cameras, but otherwise is great. Easily worth twice the price, I would gladly pay $ 10 bucks without thinking twice about it.

Everything works, but sometimes pay notification just doesn't work, and will be back to normal after a while, not sure how to configure. another issue is, there is no time settings for push notification. I am on Android 8.

It is a great app if I was broadcasting over the net and wanted a phone portal. The fact is that when I connect to my private security network which is not connected to the internet to this phone. I must turn off my data also. If I am going to turn off my data to use the app then there are not enough reasons why I would need your app. It is robust, and nicely scalable but nothing I need at the present. I wanted to at least check it out. Nicely done.

Never seen a stream on it, despite following all possible guides and troubleshooting instructions. It's End Of Life too. Additionally zoneminder never worked properly, keeps freezing frames and restarting streams on motion meaning intruders never record. Not zmninja issue but even if zmninja worked zoneminder is a pooop.

Excellent app. Really impressed with the work the developer has put into it and appreciate how active they are with support. I bought this app months ago and it didn't work to start with. Read a few of the developers comments and found I had a misconfiguration on my server. Fixed it, and all working.

I've been using zmninja for well over a year now, together with zoneminder and simple IP cameras this makes a comprehensive security solution that you can manage instead of having your data in a potential insecure cloud solution. new features are added regularly and the dev is very supportive. keep up the great work.

Works but complains you need to enable "AUTH_HASH_LOGINS" on startup. Not sure why...tried the desktop version first to test and it worked fine as is. Bit expensive for a basic viewer but unfortunately it seems ZmView has been discontinued so this is the only alternative I could find.

the app worked well on zm ver1.32, but it doesn't play video ( both live and recorded) since I upgraded to ver 1.35! web and desktop pro application play video normally. hope can receive the new version of this app with this bug fix very soon. thanks for Pliable Pixels' info. It is a bit challenge to find the error on my ZM ver1.35. No error logged on zmNinja and zm neither. Finally I found the cgi-bin error logged on Apache2 log. Now the app runs like a charm!

It never worked for me but still good effort. I am also a developer, I develop system liberaries so I know how difficult is to make this kind of application. Login worked, but montage was not working. I did enable hashed login authentication and restart zoneminder and http daemon. Also event list was empty. May be its an issue from my side, zoneminder v 1.36.10

Great app! Only wish it was easier to change between zoneminder cameras groups. I have 2 zoneminder servers that I connect to with this one app and changing between groups is buried deep in the settings menus.

I rarely give any reviews, but this app certainly deserves one! Have been searching for a good app for my CCTV system and after testing a whole bunch of them, this one was by far the best. Unfortunately , as i understand it will not be supported by the end of the year, so i really hope it will be still be kept alive by the community. Thank you to the developer for the great job done here and wish you best of luck!

Please make the video playback controls easier. It should not take two taps to pause or exit the video, also automatic rotation of the screen would be a nice option.

Good app, but bit harsh that an app upgrade release means you have to upgrade the backend or lose functionality. A breaking change push would have been good, so we could switch off auto updates!

Wow. The best front end cam app around. Thanks for that. Yes, follow the documentation. I set up zoneminder to avoid sketchy apps on my phone requiring full permissions, and p2p ports talking to my cams. Linux box, Apache, letsencrypt is a good way to go here.

Really great app for viewing my Zoneminder setup on the go. A real shame the author isn't able to continue with its development going forward, so let's hope that others in the community are able to step in and continue developing this fantastic little app. Best of luck with your future endeavours PP.

Brilliant app. Thanks for making it. To be able to view the events anywhere in the world is a must have. At first I had API error on admin account but I created a new user with full admin credentials and it works brilliant. Thanks again.

Same experience across devices. While zone minder itself was a bit of a learning curve coming from blue iris zmninja worked as it should out of the box and has a similar experience whether on desktop or mobile. I did notice a small quirk that on zm 1.34.1 the wizard would complain about the api however when manually inserted it worked fine (did not see this with zm1.32)

Edit: added a star, this would be a 5 star app but ZM is not great and doesn't work well. I can't give 5 stars as it would encourage people to use ZM. App functions well but ZM itself is horrible and does not work with modern cctv due to ridiculously inefficient design... that's why this is 3 stars.

It's a good app but I wish there was legacy support for older ZM versions. Would give it 5/5 if I could still use it, but I'm locked in to ZM 1.30.4 without doing a ton of work. Be careful enabling automatic updates with this app if you can't keep ZM updated.

5 stars for one of the better supported and very well documented apps. Even though I am more of a centos/fedora man ;) this app works well with event notification addon and IMHO a must to have installed. And was easy to setup and priced right for DIY home user with only two cams. Thanks

Love the app! super easy to set-up, well put together, aesthetically pleasing & just works. Great job. Well worth the money.
