You have to go into the permissions and allow access to your storage in order to download files. (Thankfully, another reviewer mentioned this.) Any font bigger than 12 pt will cut off text in longer paragraphs, with no way to scroll back, and 12 pt might occasionally cut off text regardless. But now I can work through Adam Cadre's catalog!

Excellent for playing new and well-known text adventures from the IF database!! Clean/simple setup, easy to save your game, overall exactly what I was looking for. :)

The app told me I downloaded a bunch of games but they never showed up in my library, so I couldn't access them. This also prevents me from deleting them to make space on my device.

This program was my whole childhood

I love the whole premise of the game, but find it difficult to find IFs that I would like. Adding in a feature to sort out the genres of IFs would be great.

I remember using this app when I was 13. I always had so much fun. *Update* Whenever I restore a game it says game over.

Initially save and restore crashed app as it hadn't requested storage permissions automatically. Once this was enabled all working well and lots of fun being eaten by hungry grues.

I started using this wonderful app on an nook version of the app, and now with the new items in the IF library i like this app even more!!!

All around great. Wish there was a large selection of them though.

No scrolling is a big deal with a small screen.

Love the stories. Wish some of them had a "help" feature. Otherwise, perfect. :)

I keep getting error messages. I have to repeat the same actions several times, and then, it crashes.

By far the best of the three available zmachine options. Has some issues with games that do more complex screen operations , and I had issues getting save files to work with interpreters on Ubuntu (but not Windows, so I think it )may have been file transfer issues). Fix these and add something like JFrotz's zboard and it'd be perfect.

I don't know if it was just me but I couldn't make jfrotzs text big enough. this app has plenty of font size options and other customization and if this app had a scroll feature and a way to browse games without searching, like a list you could sort by top rated etc, it would be perfect. this app desparately needs a scroll feature though and autosave on story close would be amazing

It does not support cover images, not a huge deal but its a minor turn-off for me, it also is limited to just 3 save slots, not a big problem, but it's quite aggravating when playing large/difficult games, also, the advertisements block a few of my games at the bottom of the list, as stated in the description it does not support I6 also annoying, it also does not scroll which-pardon my language- pissses me off even more, the most annoying part is that it does not load games that I have downloaded from the IFDB online and only has about 100 games or so to download which in my opinion is ridiculous. This is simply a basic app for IF beginners and new players, however any one who is accustomed to Interactive Fiction should look elsewhere for an app.

I want to be able to choose the font, not just its size, and I should be able to access Z-code files already on my device. Then there's the robbery of immersion caused by the fact that this app won't let you move up and down the page to get all the info. Only games with a walkthrough available should be played in ZMPP. EDIT: Just lost its last star for lack of a search facility.

Status bar is too small to read clearly. Same requests as others. Also please add confirmation for quitting. I unintentionally quit a few times, losing my place. I wish I had arrow keys to reuse previous commands.

I like this a lot, but I'd dearly love to be able to choose landscape/portrait. Also the interpreter seems to underline what it thinks are spelling mistakes in the text, although that might just be for me (on Transformer Prime) ***UPDATE*** Landscape was added within three days of the above, so many thanks to the dev - great to know you notice what users of your app think :-) Any chance of Infocom .dat support?

I'm new to the Interactive-Fiction world, and this app has been nothing but helpful. The perfect enabler ;)

I used to have this app on my Nook, and it's still great! I recommend this to anyone who likes text-based adventures. My favorite game is "Reverberations." UPDATE: THIS APP CRASHES EVERY TIME I OPEN IT ON MY NEXUS 4. PLEASE HELP!!!

It force closes each time I try to open it. I have tried uninstalling and installing, clearing the cache and data, etc. Nothing works. Will rate 5 stars if I can use it again

Worked great on my Galaxy S4, however it crashes on immediately on my Galaxy S6 Active. If this is fixed, I will return my score to 5/5.

The feature of automatically downloading games is great. But there's a huge bug: no scrolling. Hint to players: disable your network connection to get rid of the annoying ads.

At last I can play blorb games on my phone. Unfortunately the lack of a scroll function makes it a little less enjoyable to use than Twisty. Fix this and allow it to detect games on ad card and I'd give it 5 stars.

I periodically try all the IF games and interpreters on the market, and ZMPP is consistently the best interpreter for Android. No more to say, really.

Whenever I try to open it, it just says "Unfortunately, ZMPP Free has stopped." I've deleted it and reinstalled it and nothing has changed. I'm using the latest Android software on my Nexus 6.
