Zoetropic - Photo in motion

I purchased the full app in 2018 so I could use all the features. They decided to make it a monthly payment recently so the features I paid for were removed because of this new monthly subscription. Not worth the monthly price and feels like a scam how they sold it to me as a one time purchase and now all of a sudden its a recurring payment.

My only complaint with this App is the watermark. If we can choose where to place it, it would make things so much better. Currently it places the watermark on some of the animation portion of the photo, which makes the created photo slightly worthless. Other than that, it is a great app for photo animation!

Terrific app! Please take time to learn how to use this before you give it a bad review. I noticed some of you are saying there's no erase feature anymore but there is! There's a toggle switch to the left side when you choose "mask". And then you'll see the erase future magically appear. I know because I was freaked out about it myself and then I discovered it by just hitting buttons. For the people that haven't used the program, experiment between using motion and or using sequence. They each do the same thing in a different way. Choose the areas that you want to have motion and go easy with the arrows there's not a need to go crazy with them. Then ask out any area that you don't want to move and that is crucial. You'll get some stunning results that way. Alright.. unbiased review with the free version. It's good. The app itself is kind of tedious to move around in the image and is a little time consuming to edit everything (to make it perfect) However, for its basic purpose of making a still image have movement. It's great. It took me about 10 minutes to learn the ins and outs

FYI. I have a paid subscription. This app is Great. EXCEPT for the fact that i can not download the final versions on my phone because it never formats right for my phone. It shows up corrupted and then deletes. It says doesnt support file. It doesn't make any sense to me that i paid for all features to not be able to download the final product. I am using a Galaxy Note 10+

Best animation app. I have paid subscriptions for other apps but this one is the best by far. Has animation, overlays with tons of choices, you can make your picture 3d with movements, add music or text. I have made some suggestions to the developer about adding on some overlays and they added them. Not sure why some of the ratings were low. I have purchased a standard license. It is well done software, which produces nice results. The tools can be good controlled and have some nice features (e.g. a magnification feature). I was really disappointed by output video maximum resolution limitation 720p (it is stupid, why?) Many of features are still blocked even after purchase and available after a periodical subscription only. OK, but I have expected more.

Paid for this app when it launched because It was great and unwanted to support the Devs. I haven't used it in a while but recently reinstalled and now I'm back to a free account because they changed their subscription model. The decent thing to do was grandfather my account since I fully paid for the service at the time and did not agree to a change of subscription model. I paid a small amount but I want a refund based on principle.

This is a great app and have been using it for about 2 years. The app would be perfect for my use if when uploading a picture the resolution wouldn't drop and you could save the video at 1080p or higher.

Awesome photo editing tool to create a unique look for your photos. The effect works exactly as it shows and to anyone who's ever done any pro photo/video work in Photoshop or Aftereffects the workflow of the effects tools should be immediately intuitive. The tutorial is very straightforward and provides a great explanation of the tools used to create the effect. With the Pro version priced at 3.79 CAD to get all features and no watermark it's an awesome tool for any photographer out there!

Is this app in developing mode!!!.. there is lots of bugs in this app 1.When I was adding audio then it shows me error to load advertisement instead of adding audio because of this I was unable to add audio. 2.When I am saving video then it was not saving properly. 3.Most of place there is GUI issue. and I didn't feel like that this app is responsive or user friendly. Fix that bugs. Thanks.

Great app with lots of nest features and potential, and would be worth the yearly free if only there was the option to add custom overlays. Many times I willl want to compose Ana mination out of many layers, with my main photo being the foreground. Currently the only way to do that is to manually draw on the same mask to every layer you want to sit behind your foreground. At least an option to save and reuse a mask would be helpful.

This is different from other apps I use to give movement and give life to my still photos. It's features and filters are very unique. It give a completely different kind of life to your pics. It is a bit harder to get the hang of using but OMG it's well worth the effort it takes to familiarize yourself with using! This could be my number one go to app really soon. Give it a go!

Very good animation app but they need to revamp the overlays. The thumbnails are way too small showing just a black square. Too hard to choose the right effect. Has 3D effect. I love that it has in app editing like crop, text, basic color editing. Not many animation apps have all that.

The app is easy to use and gives quite nice result. However I can't save the final picture after so much time and effort editing it. It says to download a professional one and that one isn't available in my area. I hope you guys could fix this as soon as possible so I can save the work.

I personally love it really good app, until you make a mistake with stabilizer or some of that sort then you have to go back and if it was a early mistake and didnt catch it you have to go all the way back to fix it, if only they had like a way to take that mistake with out having to go back or like a history log of every step you did and if a step is wrong just insta remove, besides that app works fantastic

crashing everytime I'm in midway of editing it. had planned to get the pro version as it has much more features and easy to use interface than other apps but crashes everytime in between lost it. please improve it. till then i need to figure out a good alternative.

Enjoy spending 30 minutes masking outlet your images and getting everything you worked on only to have it all vanish and turn grey because you tried to adjust the brightness? Then this is the app for you. Honestly such a frustrating experience, especially after paying for it. Needs to be fixed asap because otherwise the tools are decent, but it needs a lot of work.

This is a great app used correctly. As a photographer I don't use it on every image, but used sparingly and for fun it really makes for some exciting eye catchers. How you use it matters, but this is a great app. I wish it allowed me to use my own graphic overlays, or create some to share. I'll have to look into that. Fair price, a lot added to the app and they just keep improving it.

After New version it's very bad there better program's with monthly subscription available after trying for 30 min I'm deleting it very disappointing. At least I keep the old version which is all I need and free from spam and future payments. After searching found one solution pixaloop 55 pounds one time purchase maybe even better function free mode available as well. I better buy one time and continue using without your subscription you made terrible mistake with new version.

Yes it's easy to learn, Yes it's got a nice UI, Yes.. the dev/s have tried hard.. BUT, it lacks the basic thing, "a perfect finish". I have tried Movepic, its nice, though too costly. Suggestion - need option to add text to video /gif. A moving customizable text.

Shame on you guys. If you want to change the policy from One-Time purchase to the subscription, At least you should maintain the Ads free or the basic feature who previously purchased. Not offering them (including me) for 1-year subscription and change it to free mode after the end of period !

Shame. I paid full price for this app only for them to now convert this into a subscription based model. I've recommended this to people in the past because it had a buy-once-use-forever model unlike Pixaloop, but they've gone down the same greedy path with absolutely no changes to the interface. Disgusting.

Not bad overall, but when I'm trying to add music it says "advertisement fail to load" or "unload advertisement" with wifi, with 4g or none.. in any of those situations - it doesn't work at all. That's why 4 stars. so, I deleted)

I paid Rs 130 and applied for the standard version. The subscription has not been updated for hours. Reviews continued. A lot of people seem to have the same problem. Says to send mail from 2018. Still repeating. Surprisingly the problem has not been solved yet. That's not right. Fix my problem quickly.

I don't know why this was an Editor's Choice. Doesn't do its purpose - bugs, a lot of advertisements, crashes all the time, and a lot more developer's issue. Simply because it's free, so yeah...

Note : fixed it by failing the log-in . The update is not working other wise i would have updated instead . I paid for a year and it is showing me as a free user .. what gives? Aparently for the last few months ive been a free user and in the subscriptions it shows i paid for a year . Not due until 2022

The only stimulated 3D effect I've used that actually works ( within reason ) Can be a bit slow when loading or adjusting effects. More effects on the free version would of course be nice !
