Great game. I do not understand why many people gave it bad reviews because this is a great game. I think that it is an upgrade from the previous game. There are some missions, however, that seem like there is only one strategy that can be used to beat the mission though. At least you have the option to move on and skip a mission if you like. Please Mozg Labs make a third zombie city defense.
While I highly recommend the first game this one I have found to be rather lacking. Sure there are new features implemented into it but I found it all to be more overcomplicated than anything. I quickly became annoyed just trying to get through the first mission and when I wasn't annoyed I was outright bored. Again I definitely recommend the first game.
Controls are incredibly touchy, half the time it doesn't detect that I'm pressing a button and the other half instead of hitting "deselect" I'm now moving a guy across the map. There's no way to progress without playing difficulty modes that border on impossible, which is not at all what I'm in the mood for. If I had a tablet-sized screen big enough for the controls and high level skills at micromanaging my troops, it might be pretty good. Since I don't, it's not.
Laggy, unresponsive, broken, randomly and unfairly difficult. There is an enemy who has a tiny little black arrow on it that makes it kill your soliders in nearly one hit. The entire game it broken and it's sad because there is a good base of a game here but it's so poorly executed.
Like the first game i loved it but i dont have alot of time to play this game so it takes me like 3 or so days to complete a mission so to me it was a waste of my money unfortunately but hey what did i expect from a game like this if im able to get a refund that would be nice considering it would just sit there untouched for about a year before i delete it and lose the money i spent on it although i would need a tutorial on how to get a refund considering ive never had to get a refund before but yea still loved it though keep up the great work!
I gave it 5 stars only because it's free. The tutorial is very basic. The enemy units are an enigma, you can't know what they do and how to fight them. The interface is optimized for computer screen and is very hard to play on 6" phone. On the good side the game is still playable, and I could get to level 5. Did not enjoy it though.
The game is seriously too hard and casual doesn't even cut it at all.. way too many z's spawn and the progress I can make is little to zero. I'm starting to think why did you make this game.. seriously sort the difficulty out
Needs ALOT of work compared to the first game, if it had a total rework to make it a bit less frustrating and more playable, maybe youd have a game that people can actually play, im keeping the game just to see if you actually fix it
totally unbalanced game, you can't produce nothing between waves after waves of enemies...very frustrating, please, make the game more playable, zombies are almost indestructibles.
Put your engineers into factories, Make turrets and defend your hq, Send your riflemen to rescue mans, Add AT soldiers if you needed, Upgrade your forces to improve performance.. So what is hard or complicated in this process? Certainly there are many changes beside previous but If you do your basics, that will be not so hard. It is a very fine game in mobile
It looks like it could be fun, but the controls are absolutely ridiculous and unintuitive. Controls need to be completely reworked.
Usually I only leave reviews if asked, I sought out to review this game. It's extremely fun, very good strategic gameplay & design, and just amazing. Have to say in 10 years having a smart phone, this is the funnest game I've played EVER
The controlls are a bit hard to rotate or zoom plus the when you get to get to level four (MRC, or the powerplant) it is difficult to complete onwards
Crashed twice on my s5e. English on the training is bad. Told me to select the base, and when I click on it nothing else pops up to tell me what to do. Glad I didn't pay for this POS. Uninstalled thanks
The reason I look 3 stars is not because it seems like a good game which it is complicate it is and I know that would be some people out there that illiterate I'm sorry but this isn't the game for you :(
Just the second level I get stuck on even on easy like come on zombies in the watch towers in ur base bruh except for that its good
Wasn't able to connect to my Google play account. And little touchy on the controls
It a hard game to play like DOF hard mode But it a good game for waste time in a boring day
Complete junk and asking for way too many permissions. Uninstalled
One of the best and first zombie strategy games nice 👌
Tutorial fails to show me how to play this? So confusing
Awesome game dont know what the others are complaining about
Dev? Any upcoming update? Love this game
Guys how do i play this
Enjoying BUT it's impossible to get past fourth level: waves are just too much at only half round. I tried several times with different tactics but it seema impossible. Maybe its an issue with my savegame because i played al infinite mode in lv.2 and got really past, only after that ALL levels became impossible to afford in a certain round.
Its a fun game i enjoy it, ive played a few hours and its getting a lot better. Only reason its not 5 stars is how long it takes to get any worth while units. The missions are interesting and fun and the different difficulty settings changes the dynamic for each mission. Only problem is im 5 hours in and beat the first 4 mission and cannot afford snipers. I think the cost of some of the units and abilities should be reduced. I will not spend any money on in game purchases when i paid money for a game. 9/10
I want to love this game, but it is ridiculously difficult in frustrsting ways. You'll have to grind in infinite mode on 1-2 early stages to unlock units but then you are limited on deployment points and then the zombies make no sense WRT their power vs humans. Practically need a detailed walk through to get past level 4 just on casual. I'd ask them to fix it but this seems to be the problem since beta rollout. Bummer.
I really liked Zombie CIty Defense 1, and gave it 4 stars. But the sequel is a big downgrade in quality IMO. The updated visuals and mechanics are nice, but the difficulty curve is completely unbalanced. It's way less fun and way more difficult than the first one. More than that, sometimes I just have no idea why I'm losing. Sometimes I'll watch a zombie sit there hammering away on my guy who is not even attacking back. The economy is way more difficult to manage and the UI for unit selection is completely unusable. There are no names on anything, just icons, and you can't even click a unit you don't own if you don't have the currency to buy it, so you can't see what things are! There's a ton of new units and it's not obvious how they should really be incorporated. Overall it's just a lot of UI and mechanics changes, some good, some bad, but in the end it's a worse game than the first one.
