Watch a zombie outbreak unfold in real world environments, and alter the outbreak parameters to your liking. Do you prefer old-school slow movers, or the new fast movers? Is the population armed? How well can they shoot? How many police will be on patrol? Customize your own outbreak then watch the chaos unfold.
Zoom in and out to keep track of the infection as it spreads across the map! Watch from a high satellite view to get an overview of the infection, or zoom right in and watch as civilians run for their lives, shoot at zombies and inevitably become infected. Keep track of the people's only hope
- local law enforcement, as they fight back against overwhelming odds.
Join in the action by raining fire from above with Mk81 and Mk82 bombs, delivered by A-10 Tank Killers! Parachute soldiers into the front lines to protect the civilians. Deploy helicopters to rescue civilians before they become overwhelmed.
From the Settings screen you can change the following parameters:

From the Map Select screen you can choose from:

The free version of the app contains limited features, with in-app purchases for upgrades to unlock the full functionality. Initially you have access to two maps (one online, one offline), limited outbreak settings, and limited numbers of bombs, soldiers and helicopters.

i remember playing this on pc years ago. Features seem to have come and gone, but it's still fun. it's a shame that all but 2 maps are behind a pay wall. I'm tempted to pay, but the only "online" map available for free just shows as a featureless gray map. I can tell there are supposed to be obstacles by the movements of zombies and civilians, but i can't see them. so my concern is that i have no guarantee that this won't be the case for the other maps once I've payed for them.
The game has potential. Don't bother with buying player maps though. You see hundreds of them which makes it look like a good buy. Go to them and every single one is the same. No scenery. Just people spread out on map. Costs more than the other upgrades, but it is completely pointless since you have access to one to start with. The exact same one you get with paying. So the player map upgrade you pay and get nothing. Not to mention if you want to change settings you have to watch an ad.
This game is amazing! I love the concept of the game on how you pretty much have the choice to play good or bad in this and that there are settings in the game to almost fully customise your play style. There are also a gargantuan amount of maps to choose from each of them are unique too . However there is so much more that could be added into the game such as barricades, landmines, spikes, claymores and much more also diffrent zombies and military could be added into the game. great game! 😁😁
It used to be a 4 star game at the very least for me. I loved the music and the extra maps. However none of the player or online maps are downloading for me, so spending the money to unlock them seems like it wasn't such a good move. If they have ended support for the game they could have at least updated the game to download the maps for paying customers
I think the game is great except for some things. For one give me more options! I dont want the same stuff for the whole time i have the game. Smarter AI, more soldier types, and last where you can control everyone. Like the AI are mostly dumb because they keep getting stuck in houses. Lastly Make vehicles to where people can get in them and Kill zombies more skins for people. other than that its a great game.
Good game with simple controls, however the lack of updates make the games experience falter losing interest. Would be very nice to update the game with new units or enemies, maybe allow the ability to place special or normal zombies on different parts of the map. Adding vehicles or barriers would also be great to enhance the apocalyptic experience.
Near perff. I wish it had more controls to mess with and more options to change. Or an option to control a lone soldier on the ground. OR even have the ability to play it RTS style by controlling a horde of zombies or a group of civs / soldiers on the ground. But sadly it doesn't :( maybe in Zombie Outbreak Simulator 2 if there is ever a sequel.
A pretty good game, it could do with a few more features. Maybe allowing for more direct control over individual characters (human or zombie), a campaign mode, or maybe just some more maps available for offline usage. Still, pretty enjoyable overall: 8 out of 10!
I find this game amazing, it is fun and can't see much wrong with it, yet, I really want more content, maybe trains of planes, If that's not possible at least cars for civilians, I also think there should be more military equipment varies to maps, like rivers get boats etc, or at least humvees, also make it so soldiers stay in formation, overall, Great Game! I love zombies games, and when I got this game it was cool but it started to get boring after a while, I wish that you guys would put in swat, different types of zombies like bosses or super zombies, more military units and much more. Overall this game is great I just wish you could put these ideas, please update it. And also please make it more free.
I love your game, it's a brilliant idea full of sooo much potential. That's why I'm giving it five stars, although I have a few requests. If possible, I would really appreciate it if you could add infection resistance and survival rate, also, the soldier deployment seems a bit redundant so if you could, maybe add troop deployment? Change the AI a bit so that it isn't just running into walls (better pathfinding)? Thank you so much, please keep refining and perfecting this idea 😃.
I gave 4 stars not because of what it is but due to its potential. I played this game on PC years ago when all you had 3 police units that you could control. I think with the added features it has now would make this a pretty good game. If we could control police and/or the soldiers instead of the getting lost in back gardens.
Love this game. I've been playing it since the beta on the computer way back in the day. Anyways, I would pay $20 for this game if there was a tools option into making this game a sky view 3D game. After tracing the buildings, cars, etc. The Google map disappears and there you have a 3D map. I could spend a ton of time and money for extras and creating cool maps. If you did this at the very least, I think it would definitely put you folks in a good position.
It is a very fun game to play. It has amazing customization features, and decent gameplay. I wish though, that 1) You could play as a character in-game. 2) That you could make your own type of zombie for better gameplay. If like in an update or something, they could add on (or both) of these, it would be amazing.
The game is really fun but when you buy the premium (i have it myself) it can get boring after seeing all the maps and it would be better with this: Tanks/armored vehicles, command your soldiers, when there's soldier nearby a Civilian soldier can say to Civilian where to go (to safe zone or something), and safe zones like area with soldiers and civilians go there, and some more types of soldiers medic, supporter, and building barricades. So yea these things would make the game more interesting
Fun time waster, but the reason for the 4 stars is that I would like to be able to control civilians, soldiers, police, and even zombies with just a touch on the character. It would make it so much better. To run from zombies, or shoot them as they come to you. In order to shoot, you should have to swipe and hold in a certain direction as a joystick for moving. I mean, a zombie simulator that you could also survive in, now that sounds awesome! Anyways, great game, but please add this.
