Zone Launcher - One Swipe Edge Launcher & Drawer

It's been a long while since the app was last updated. I've got a suggestion-please make it possible to add a folder within a zone. Also, make it possible to launch separate zones from the 2 triggers (that the app already allows one to create). Finally there's some movement taking place - buddy, the app is having hard time operating with the full screen gestures 😶

Edit: 0.4.12 fixed the issue from the last update. Also, all my apps are back so nothing was lost. Seems like android.permissions.QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES was missing. Thanks for the quick fix, dev. Latest update (0.4.11) deleted all the shortcuts I had already configured, leaving only the Notes app. I'm unable to find any 3rd party apps that I can add back either. It only shows system apps now. A heads up would've been nice so I could've taken a backup

Great launcher, but last update does not work well with Android 11 gestures. Now the trigger area can not be used for the android back gesture like before (previously zone launcher was activated only if trigger area was swiped diagonally). Also can you add the ability to map two apps on same zone. When drag over zone and quick release launch the first app, and if you drag and hold over same zone launch the second one (you can display a loader and after 5sec display the icon of the second app).

Idea wise it is perfect...never understood why people would prefer Niagara launcher over an option that you can access from all screens. Execution wise, I'm seeing an issue where swiping in at the trigger and then out to the edges is registered as a request to start split screen mode. A small annoyance in another wise massive time saver!

Update: 0.4.17 I have to uninstall the launcher. It doesnt save my settings restoring the automatically to default. Zones still having graphical issues while in trigger. I'll just add one thing that really concerns me and that is the privacy, if you could just open source the code that will be unbluring anyones doubts about it.

Edit. Issue fixed... thanks. Edit, last update broke settings. Only system apps are available for selection. third party apps are not visible. Great launcher , add settings to adjust size of selection ring

Used to work flawlessly for a long time, however since the latest update the triggers block the android 'back' navigation gesture. I hope this can be fixed because it's extremely annoying

Thanks for updating this. App is working as advertised. Can please add these features in Themes a option to follow by system light/dark, option for icon label text size and space between zone tabs as i accidentally switching randomly

With the last update it doesn't see my apps, i have like 40 apps and Zone Laucher shows that i have 10 apps when i try to add shortcuts. I think it's showing only system apps.

I purchased full version with google discount but my order cancelled without my permission a few days later. I sent a mail about that but no one replied. Could you give back my full license? Thank you.

The idea and functionality of the app feels really promising. It's very easy to use too. The only major issue I found is that, it uses a pretty huge amount of resources by time. I found this after a few days of installing, when my phone started to lag and stutter. When I checked, I found that it's using 400 MB+ RAM, like a high graphics game, which is really a bad optimisation. I'm expecting an improvement over this RAM leaking.

Really good potential. I like the interaction and how easy it is to categorise the apps into folders (zones). It has good options for personalising the view. The problem for me is that after adding a few zones it stopped me being able to sort them. If I move one the order seems to change randomly. This only became apparent after I paid for the full version. I have emailed the developer, but have not heard back yet. If this is fixed I think it could be a really useful app.

I don't know why this launcher isn't some gold standard for Android OS. It can be conveniently placed anywhere on the edge, reached with the thumb, and it can access your entire app library in a swipe (or three). Doesn't consume excessive power, works over any app; it just makes sense. The zones are a great way to organize most-used apps and I can launch any of my almost 500 apps in a snap. This is the ONLY launcher I've had that can switch between all of them the fastest, with the least effort.

Can we have an option to turn off persistent notification? What is good: Zones. You can add apps, shortcuts, and toggles for system settings (wifi, Bluetooth, flashlight). Theme customization. What is not good: Optimization. App keeps getting closed for some reason. If you add new column after you set up your blocks, everything is messed up, you have to arrange your apps again. Slow response. I feel like it takes like half a second for your apps to show. This has a huge potential. Review limi

Really nice launcher built on a good idea. My only quibbles after several months of use are that (a) I'm finding the index lookup is just a bit too fiddly - it's hard to pick M, for example, or any other letter, on the first try, and that's how it gets you to your apps ... and (b) it seems a bit laggy sometimes, with several seconds delay before the app icons display after you select the index letter.

Installed this just yesterday and bought the full version because i found it very useful and intuitive. But now it doesn't seem to be working like it did at first. Just doesn't open the apps from shortcuts. The circle used to drag onto the icons stays overlapped and stuck on screen inspite of clearing recents which is fixed only by a reboot. Excellent, thank you very much for authoring this application in a very convenient way for users, there is a one problem please, and I am confident that you will fix it : when choosing screenshot from the list that I arranged to capture picture or something like this, the result will be a picture plus the status bar although the screen that I captured was not has that status bar. I hope from you to fix this problem. THANK YOU VERY MUCH...

Does what says. The only draw back if I have to say is that it lags to open the apps. Apart from that, it might get annoying at times, because of the placement of the triggers which one needs to careful of. If placed rightly, it can be the best tool to help you minimize and utilise the space. Reduced one star because it can be improved.

Love this app! I always used it. Even paid. But since I updated my phone (one plus 7 pro) a while ago it's been acting strange. The trigger area is behind the back button (swipe from the sides) so it is very difficult to access the shortcuts. I really hope this can be fixed as this is the best shortcut app I've found.

Great app. Could it be possible to put the items near the bottom instead of the top? The way it is right now, the apps are fairly high up on the screen. Also, a way to hide Android buttons, since your launcher can take over some of the roles of the navigation buttons. Hope you add more options, as this app is literally replacing 3 others.

Feature Request - Please provide a feature in which when one simply swipes down on the trigger area without moving the cursor towards certain areas, it automatically activates certain shortcuts or apps. At times, I just want to immediately bring down the notification shade or quick settings with less effort. A simple blind swipe down would do the trick. Thanks.

This looks great, just paid for full version. Would love the ability to set exactly where the app launcher appears, I launch from the bottom right and would like the apps to be closer to there, so my thumb has to travel less distance to choose the specific app basically. Very keen for the future of this app! EDIT: Thank you for such a prompt reply! I do have Small Hand mode enabled and that does about 70% of what I'm after. (Did some fiddling and adding empty blocks to the top row does the job!)

I sincerely thought this would have a starting point, but you have to customize literally everything. In other words, you start with an empty grid. There's not much help in setting it up. I gave up. This might be great, but I'm not seeing any backup and restore options, and I'm hesitant to go through so much configuring without a means of saving it EDIT: PRO needed . Going to keep an eye on this project, it could be going places 😉

Really useful. It makes switching between apps fast & easy. I also love the simplicity of the app. UPDATE: The Dev fixed the RAM bug within a day, I'm very impressed. Current RAM usage is between 25MB to 50MB which is normal. Thank you very much for the speedy bug fix. Keep up the good work.

I just installed this app after seeing it on a YouTube video. So far I like it, it's everything I wanted in something like this. However, when I add a new "Zone" and I want to rearrange my zones in alphabetical order, that doesn't work after I tap "save". They still remain in the order I added them, how do I fix this? Also, I notice my phone has been vibrating randomly after I installed this app, every time I pick my phone up to see if it's a new message or email but nothing's there.

There is a problem with the app : half the time, when trying to launch any APP via zone launcher, the APP doesn't launch right away. There is a message appearing at the bottom of screen "[this APP] is launching", waiting up to 2sec before actually launching the APP you want. This is annoying, but maybe unavoidable (see dev response, but I'm not sure what the dev is saying) However it goes against the spirit of the app to navigate the phone quickly, with this almost systematic delay.

I have a problem.. the indicator circle is too big .. covers 2 apps and make it difficult to me .. no option to resize it help
