Nice. I used ZoneAlarm back in the 90's. I was always impressed with it. I used it in conjuction with Nortons anti-virus. After 20 years Nortons kept getting STUPID with their billing practices so I shook them off my leg ($20 first year, $100 2nd year and always pushing automatic renewal). Just let me pay annually. They didn't care that I was a 20 year customer. I HOPE THAT NONSENSE DOESNT HAPPEN WITH ZONEALARM SO I CAN BE A 20 YEAR CUSTOMER. I always trusted Zonealarm!
What, it's not free. Nothing without subscription? Opened app, a blank white page visible along with home button top left. After a while subscription page shows up. No option for using free with limited features?
I had just start using Zhone alarm on my PC trial on a beta version and decided that I'd use it on mobile. I subscribed toand was given a 7 - days trial. But had to cancel shortly after because I have I enable Zhone Alarm VPN for safe browsing. This feature conflicts with my paid subscription of Surfshark VPN. This is one caveat for me why I can't use it. But otherwise I would use it. The UI is lovely and there is a certain smoothness to it. Anyway thanks for allowing me a trial. Cool

When my subscription expired of my older other product I decided to try different ones on the market. I'm so glad I found and tried ZoneAlarm. It's so effective and automated perfectly to my needs. It's low on battery resorses. The interface is perfect and easy to understand. I personally think it is worth every cent of the monthly subscription. I can see it really does protect my online security. I only have one concern the VPN seems congested as the data seems to bottleneck when used?
You ripped me off, I paid for the 30 day use but today I get cancelled. What's up with that, purchased on 4/6/22 and then today I see cancel. Now, I see how personal information gets hacked, I'm thinking I'm protected but my subscription is cancelled.
I originally installed the Android version as it came supplied with my PC version of Extreme Security. BTW, I am satisfied with the Windows software. The Android version would not configure to allow me to successfully use MMS. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling; I tried with VPN and without, but I could neither send pictures nor a text to two contacts at the same time. I tried my stock text app, Handcent, and Textra; I tried a crazy matrix of MSS-SMS. Nada I uninstalled ZA and MSS worked.
ZA works ok on public WiFi. But on cellular network, it causes issues to my network connection. I can't load certain websites or even use WhatsApp. Restarted my phone nearly 4x in 1 day. Once I turn off the VPN when I'm on cellular network, my network is fine & I can use my phone smoothly. Thinking of unsubscribing & uninstalling this. Needs work, ZA!
I like some aspects of it. But Can't see in a time like this, where VPN has become so privalent, that I'd choose this app that prevents me from using my Surfshark or any other VPN service. There are so Many other Anti-virus out there that allow the use of a VPN service that changes your ip address. Zhone Alarm doesn't and should find another way for their browser protection. Maybe they are not ready to compete for certain subscribers. But seriously???
Great app with the extreme subscription. Protect your phones and pc's people because the threats out there are real and very dangerous. Thank you Zone Alarm, I've used your products for over a decade and install the free version at the least on every computer I have ever worked on and recommend a subscription to all customers.
Very nice security app. Doesn't drain battery and scans apps and files. I wish there was a way to provide web protection without using a vpn. I use another vpn with a dedicated ip address for banking and such. Always having to turn one off and then back on again when I'm finished.
Latest update has make the apps annoying.. it keep showing on the notification saying that it is running in the back ground... after i off the notification setting and still shows on the notification.. plz fix this... it really draining the battery... i already clear all my data on this app and stop using this apps untill this thing is fix.. it is a good apps before.. but after the latest update it is kind of annoying.... plz fix it.. and i am paying for this app every month on my mobile plan... i'm using it on my Samsung S8+ And one more thing.. i trying to send u this msg on your email.. but u send me back by email that had fatal error..... what going on zonealarm 😡😡😡
Subscribed to this service from Singtel and the support is simply atrocious... Had to download the app again on my new phone. The trial has expired and when I clicked subscribe, the app tried to charge my credit card on Google store. Have been trying to ask singtel how to activate zone alarm again without being charged and the customer service officers just don't have a clue. My email to ZoneAlarm has also gone unanswered. This is a terrible service!
Update: Now it says my own very secure wifi is a threat. UNINSTALLING..USELESS! When my phone updates and restarts, ZA doesn't restart automatically and I don't notice it's off. Limited user guides. Seems to think my phone is rooted...its not. Doesn't appear to do anything anyway. Have contacted ZA as they've advised in a previous rating ...twice...no contact from them. Seems pretty useless really. Update: I'm not emailing because I already have twice and had no response!
I've paid for the top tier versions of ZoneAlarm since the 90's without one single issue & we'll use it for years to come. Great products! This mobile app is no different. BUT. I seen the activation code option & was jazzed. We always save one code in case we get another PC or device. So naturally after purchasing a gaming tab & after reading these reviews & such that the said code would be accepted. Unfortunately this is not the case & wouldn't accept it. Bummer.

Great product works well however when you purchase a 1 year subscription you expect to get 1 year like every other software program out there. Apparently they must have a horrible billing department or try to rip off there customer's by charging there customers 38 days early and only give them 11 month subscription. Just really bad practice very frustrating and not really upfront when signing up about it.
I use zone alarm on my PC and love it. I had high hopes for it on my Android phone but unfortunately as soon as I installed it my voice mail stopped working. Voice mail began working as soon as I uninstalled zone alarm. If this issue gets fixed I will try zone alarm again.
I have used ZA for years on my computers and love it as well as trust them. I now have it for my phone and feel very comfortable with it. The app is easy and protects many vital features of the phone.
Good app. I used zonealarm on PC free version and very good detection rate. ZoneAlarm mobile security needs network to perform all tasks. I just love the PC version. It's free reliable and low impact on system performance .
ZA does not work with the VPN Killswitch option turned on... Update: To clarify, ZA does not work when the "block all connections without a VPN" option is turned on...
