Zoog VPN - Free VPN

Very good VPN for my use case. Need to be on UK servers to use Xbox Cloud Gaming and the transmission is very demanding, yet this VPN manages it flawlessly, even with the 10GB free version. Would definitely recommend.

Does it's job but whenever I am about to win any game on any app it happens to conveniently disconnect at that exact moment, I have gone down 100's of ranks in games due to this happening. Other than that it's good.

Great app, does what it says it will do, simple interface. I only wish that there was the option in Settings to have the app auto re-start and re-connect to the VPN after a phone re-boot, if it was active when phone was shut down. Unfortunately I have to modify my review. It related to the app on my Android phone. I haven't had such a good experience with Windows 10. I have twice requested help on the support page AND emailed the developer directly without any response or acknowledgment at all. It is now a month later and repeated requests for Support have only been met with a deafening silence. Very poor, go to the bottom of the class!

I've tried various VPN's including the most heavily marketed (you all know who I'm talking about) and Zoog leaves me with the most favourable impression in key (for me) areas. !, Ease of use. The interface is simple and intuitive. My whole family can use it after brief tuition. 2, Speed and Stability. I have a fibre source which is restricted by ADSL 2 delivery. I have a peak of 25 mbs. If I choose to stream in HD I can't afford to lose bandwidth. The loss with most of Zoog's servers is negligible...about 2-5 mbs. On Auto setting it's almost zero. Furthermore it has never dropped. 3, Security. There's little point using a VPN if it leaks....it reveals your true IP. Zoog doesn't, at all. And yes, I have tested it thoroughly. Zoog claims to allow connection to notoriously 'difficult' services like Netflix and BBC iPlayer. I can't comment as I haven't had the need to use this feature. 4, Service. I haven't as yet had the need to contact their service team, but given the level of communication about updates and new features and the existence of a users forum I doubt there would be an issue. I rated this app with 5 stars because, for my purposes, I cannot fault it.

After applying the latest update of the program, it became impossible to use the service! I use the paid version of the program, which is even more upsetting - for the money paid, not being able to use the service, what am I paying for then ??? The program began to spontaneously close, not automatically reconnecting. Works 5 minutes and turns off. restarting the program is possible only after rebooting the phone. The program icon has become so small that now you need to specifically look

Bought a life time unlimited subscription from stacksocial and it allowed me to access all the global servers without any restrictions. After a year or so,they changed my subscription to liteversion without my consent and asking me to purchase additional subscription. Not sure how that is fair and I have emailed sales and created ticket with the customer service and they are absolutely terrible and even after contacting them multiple times, they didn't even bother to respond. Absolutely terrible

App works great. Customer service not so much. I have emailed twice and used the chat feature on the website once. Not one reply back. I don't know if they even have customer service. I wanted to ask them about adding some connection features to the android tv app. I also paid for two years of service. Ashame they will not respond to emails and messages left on the chat feature.

Zoog Vpn is one of the best Vpn i have ever used, its boost the Internet speed in the place where people have complained about the bad network and I'm really enjoying it, i give them 5 stars

Updated 29/10/2019: There were issues with some countries that didn't hide the IP address. However the issue was resolved and hopefully stay like that so my rate changed to 5 star as I can't find something negative. A nice other features could be the server load and latency for various countries inside the app! Thank you.

It's good... Sometimes fast, sometimes slow... Sometimes fast connect, sometimes can't connect to server... Sometimes stays on for days, sometimes drops me leaving me exposed without warning. But if paying attention every so often it's good and solid. Happy overall.

Network connection failed. I tried multiple times to connect. But my network has a good firewall I guess that it blocks all access to these types of services. Support was quick to respond and tried to solve the issue.

It's being a week now and if I could give it more stars I'll do without hesitation it's so sample but working perfectly 👍👍👍👍🙂 speed is high and stable and it works great while others are not! / please add more middle east servers and split option and it will become the best ever

I got their lifetime premium service from a website. At first, I was able to receive the service I paid for. I stopped using their service for a while and then when I tried to re-use it, I noticed that they changed my account type to a "limited" version without even letting me know. I tried to contact them using their website and the e-mail they share here in other comments to fix this situation, however they never reply. I partially receive the service so I will not give 1 star. But it looks like they can just do whatever they want to your paid account and not provide a customer service. I have to say buyer beware!

I been using this for the past year, when it works, which is half the time, its great. it randomly disconnects. my subscription expires soon, Im moving to another higher end VPN.

Main reason i bought is streaming Netflix (UK) but it doesnt work...or maybe 1 in 100 times. All support can say is "its working for us" or "keep disconnecting and reconnecting" pretty useless as it doesnt work on pc or mobile app

it is not connecting it just connect when i have data on my phone. it show that am consuming data while it is other data is being consumed. my phone data get in use even when am connected. it is not helpful to me it just for nothing and connot browes with it in african countries. all the server do not allow people in african countries to enjoy this freedom of using zoogvpn internet. i do not see the reason of uupgrading if the freedom 2Gb can not work how sure can i be to know it will when upgrad

Works fine on my laptop, but since latest update it will not connect from my Samsung S7 Edge. Tried numerous servers, and no joy. Edit: I tried the suggested fix and it now works perfectly.

This company is a fraud. I have taken the subscription and canceled very next day as it was not working as per my expectations. There was a policy of 7 days free trial. I informed them very next about the cancellation and they assure the refund will be initiated back to account within 3-5 days. Despite of several emails till now they have not cancelled my subscription neither initiater the refund. I would says it's better to take Nord, express vpn than these. Such a poor customer service.

I rate the free version very highly. The connection doesn't drop the VPN speed drops only by a small amount of velocity It's .easy to connect, good for video streaming.carnt fault it , it's excellent and I've tried tested scores of free vpns

A few bugs here and there but usually works ok. Sometimes needs a bit of tinkering - for some reason when things are set to "automatic" it doesn't always work.

Worst VPN ever. It didn't even give access to Internet once I switched it on. Also there's no IKE2V protocol in the app, only UDP and TCP. Their page seemed legit and very supportive but it's all useless.

I had bought this 1 year back as lifetime membership. I was able to connect to India server free of cost but now they are asking to make payment. This is completely fraud. Also , they dont respond to emails. Don't buy this vpn, there are far better vpn available in market.

My priority vpn.. I'm not used to this but for now I have to say the fact it's the most amazing vpn I have ever use .. this is my 3 yrs in using it.. improve more

used to work, but not anymore. if my wifi is being restricted, the app won't even start. so it's using "regular" protocol to try to connect to Zoogvpn network but failed. it should use vpn protocol to bypass the limitations first

Until they work on their customer service support, don't use. I have a subscription that ends in 2069, I have sent several customer service emails with serious issues, no one has ever reached out.

Update (12 Jan 2021). I just paid for an upgrade 2 yrs) and started using the New York 2 server. Well today it started giving me an Pakistan IP address. Tried on my phone and wife's. Also tried on 4G mobile and wifi. Same results. I would stay away until its fix. Ran the same actions today 13Jan on New York2. The IP given was from Pakistan. I sent an email with requested information without any responses. Is this the only medium that you respond to? No issues with other vpn providers.

Signed up for a lifetime plan then suddenly get a load of servers taken off my plan and now I have to pay again (some new premium package) to get them back. That said, it's a great service for what I paid
