- How do you catch animals?Simply swap adjacent animals to match three or more of the same animals, and they’re caught!The animals you catch make up your ATTACK and DEFENSE points.
- How do you play against other users?Each round, you have 30 seconds to catch as many animals as possible, and the aim is to build up your ATTACK and DEFENSE enough to beat your opponent.If your opponent's LIFE runs out… you win!If you both have some LIFE left… one more round!*If neither player wins after 5 rounds, the winner is whoever has more LIFE remaining.
- Your opponent has the same animal panels as you!In every match, you and your opponent will share the exact same animal panels. Even the new ones that fall in to replace those you've caught!This means you have to catch those critters more efficiently than your opponent. Luck doesn't come into it! Or does it? Item panels will fall in randomly. If you’re feeling lucky, victory could be yours!
- Master active chaining!If you just sit and wait for animal panels to disappear… you’re missing out!While the animals you've caught are busy disappearing, you can be working on your next catch, and the next, and the next one after that! Chain catches together to be a true master.
- Keep your eyes open for lucky animals!Each round, one chosen animal type will specially give a boost to both your ATTACK and DEFENSE. These are lucky animals. Don't forget to watch for them when the round starts!

Very good game, the colors and concepts are fun and vibrant. But it's incredibly hard and grindy.
Matchmaking is absolute trash. People become miraculously so freaking good after a few matches. Power bottles are there just to get your lose streak further.
I enjoy the game almost daily. They keep it fresh by coming up with new challenges to win awards. I need to know how to use the gold bar rewards since I can't trade them in. I have so many!
I was out of bottles when fighting the magical monkey and mecha boss , both times I was trying to purchase 60 bottles so that I can keep my record going BUT your server was stuck and stuck that I needed to give up ( sad thing and what pissed me so off is I have used a few bottles already to fight both guys ! ) love this game very much but the server is giving me hard times ... I'm not happy , I don't like how you guys trick bottles too !
A great twist on the original Zookeeper concept. Online battles are the best.
I used to play this game all the time. As it was a fun and simple game to pass the time. However, upon downloading it again, the game is stuck in the downloading update phase. The update won't download even after leaving it on for more than 10 minutes. Restarting the phone or uninstalling and reinstalling the game does not fix the problem either.
The gameplay is nice but the ui is kind of bloated
Cool avatars to collect. Realtime pvp multiplayer (unless it disconnects, then it seamlessly switches to an AI with the opponent's average scores). Variety of events. You can be casual or competitive. Possible to get good prizes as a free player. Top ranking players may spend on bottles to play more often but in a singular battle there is no pay-to-win, just pure skill and luck. Tips: Look for multiple chains before swiping. Get lucky animal, elephant, or hippo near end of chains for higher DEF.
I have played this for Years! Love it, really exciting! I'm on my 3rd account now and am at level130. I want the app developers to address the comepletely unfair matching system. Enough people play it to make matches with similar ranking a rule? This would make higher runs possible and more exciting, the challenge already hard enough and I'm getting tired of it! Love Bingo btw :)
Game seems fun from playing the tutorial. Couldn't get past the "Getting event data" screen, took me literally hours to get to 30%. I'm on a fast and stable Wi-Fi connection, so I'm sure the problem is not on my end.
I enjoyed playing zookeeper much in the past. But found it getting way too hard to level up after level 100. I'm currently at level 120, not sure if I can complete level 150 as it requires to earn too extremely high amount of experience before I can get just one little step up.. Starting to lost interest on the game
I would give 5stars but the new Dream Tower took 3 power bottles and still wouldn't work. I'm on mission 7, level 7. I tap the boss, the battle opens and nothing responds but it still eats keys and I spent 3 power bottles thinking to continue the battle it would unfreeze. DISAPPOINTED. Update: past that now, glitch seems fixed. Back to enjoying game!
Prizes are incredibly hard to get something decent except for low level ones like "clean cloth" that can only be left in your stock for nothing forever. You ended up having like hundreds of useless pieces from the "prize" and have no idea why there's no improvement whatsoever on this game with every updates. I used to spend on this game regularly but it appears that the game doesn't seem to see how boring it becomes to players.
PAINFULLY slow with server. When it loads "event data" it takes 10-15 mins to download. Then 9 out of 10 times it cant connect to server. I dont have this issue with any other game. Havent even played the game past the tutorial. Fix this and I'll raise rating but right now game is unplayable.
A fan for many years, but the the latest special supporters (like princess of destiny cindra) from special supporter scouting all do not show up in the backup special support list. I suspect there was a connection issue when they were downloading, and then the list was not able to refresh afterwards. Hope you could fix it or tell me what I could do to refresh the list.
Love this game, very fun especially the mini-game mecha boss games like the shining star game. Some stuff is confusing though, like what the fusion does and if I should make my zoo cute or cool for the boss I'm going to battle. A lot of the in-game purchases are pretty expensive though. One power bottle is 99 cents? No thanks. I'd consider buying if it were like 5 power bottles for a dollar.
Fun and addictive (!!!). Classic match 3 game with a challenge due to competing with other players on a similar skill level. Love the graphics, challenges etc.
This app filled up my phone's storage with almost 700mb... I had to uninstall and reinstall which was followed by a LONG time of event downloading just to recover 300mb. Please make sure your updates clean up after themselves! | Last update causes random crashes on Galaxy S10+.
Another game in the trash from people paying to win. Lost every match in this game because the other person is getting ridiculous amount of points in one round, I used to be good at this game, now there's no point in playing because I don't want to pay to win. Well done, I hope its worth it.
I really love this game. I normally don't like games where you have to wait for lives, but for some reason, the wait doesn't feel so long here. Also, the challenges they keep coming up with are interesting and fun!
Cant even play it! The screen on "getting event data" goes on forever, and I'm on really fast and stable internet so it's definitely not me. Disappointed.
Zookeeper is a keeper. It keeps you engaged, playing for more and is just quirky cool enough that it satisfies on many levels.

Ok I played this game years ago and I loved it, it keeps trying to receive an update from the server but it's taking forever to actually download it and my internet is superb. Had anyone else run into this issue?
I love this game. I've been playing it for years. It's challenging and has events and mini games with prizes that help you "dress up" your zoo and zoo animals.
I enjoy this game more than 8 years. Unfortunately, after Jan 12 update I cannot connect server anymore!!! Zookeeper support team refuse to fix it 😭😭😭
As usual, Japan takes the simple idea of a match 3 game and turns it into something special, with plenty to do and wonderful aesthetics
Total classic, I play everyday. But it is graphically busy and the instructions don't actually tell you anything. If I didn't have a friend that used to play, I would have no idea what to do or how to level up my zoo. They don't even explain the fusion. It's very vintage-esque but too complicated in my opinion
