ZOOM Cloud Meetings

For a long time the app doesn't work well with Bluetooth headsets, especially on the microphone side. This is unforgivable in 2022. On Samsung S22 Ultra, I'm unable to make it use the headset mic *at all* on 2 completely different Bluetooth headsets. On OnePlus 6 and other, if you get a call during a Zoom meeting, you won't be able to switch back to headset mic after returning to the meeting, unless you exit the meeting and rejoin.

This was working well for me for years. I thought it was so cool to be able to take a call from my car. Recently my car stopped thinking the audio from zoom is a phone call, and it is just coming over the headphone feature. This is really bad because the car stereo has a feature that works like a Tivo so there is a delay on all audio and Zoom can't noise cancel a 10 second delay in sound. Only one star off for that, I hope a future update will fix.

I really never have a problem with this app. It used to be really laggy and have a lot of connectivity issues but this last time i used it, it seemed to have some improvements and new features. The pop up window was the main thing i was hoping they'd implement and they did. I'm happy about not having to switch back and forth between screens anymore. Pretty good simple app.

Haven't had any issues with connectivity throughout my meetings. The stability of Zoom is commendable, and the UI is very straightforward and easy-to-use as well. Though I'm a bit worried with the fact that Zoom still accesses the microphone even when I'm muted. The mic indicator on the status bar confirms this. Could you explain why this continous microphone access is necessary?

If I have bad wifi reception then it can freeze momentarily or become glitchy. But I do not think this has anything Todo with the quality of the app. I am pleased with the easy functionality of zoom. It's easy to register, sign in, and attend important group meetings and classes! It saves you log in info so if you have attended a certain zoom room before, you won't have to re-look up the room #. This is great for me because I am so unorganized most days. Thank you Zoom!

Clear pictures quality and audio. This app makes life easy for me. Today I needed to attend ECK Light and Sound Service in - person but the change in venue from where it would have been convenient made it a difficult task to attend in person. So I opted for an online option and I enjoyed every bit of the event viewing through zoom platform. Thank you the zoom team 💙

I've used Zoom to contact my internet friends over the course of pandemic. However, I don't think I'll be using the app or service much more with the new 40 minute limit on 1:1 calls. Having to rejoin constantly like that is such a huge negative for my friends and I, especially when we've previously fallen asleep and woken up to one and another's presence. Falling asleep and waking up to see my friend is not here to comfort me, only to find out about the new update was truly devastating.

So so so stupid that this app uses phone call audio (instead of the standard media) AND doesn't allow casting AND doesn't allow picking audio source, so even using Bluetooth isn't an option. It also doesn't support direct screen input methods either (like plugging in an HDMI cable to the phone). Such a joke, especially given every other competitor supports some or all of these.

I give it a FULL FIVE STAR, because Zoom is a very convenient app. It helps us connect to one another with no hassle. However, is, it's a little bit confusing, because when someone is calling, the notification of the call never pops up on the screen, that's why, I'm so confused which app has a caller. I hope you can fix it and add this new feature in your app. That's it and God bless.

This app is very barebones compared to the computer version and barely functions. One of the biggest issues I have is with audio inputs/outputs: it frequently doesn't recognize when I plug in or connect to headphones, especially when changing outputs while in a meeting. The only way to change it appears to be a button in the top left corner, except it barely works half the time, and there's no setting tab to do this like there is on the desktop version. These are really annoying to deal with.

The mobile app for android is lacking a lot of features compare to PC. The ability to Record the call, Change of Background as well as picture-to-picture feature would be great to be added. I find using zoom quite hard in my mobile especially in my onlice class, I have to go back and forth in Zoom while using another app, while not being able to see the video. I find it challenging to use the Zoom app.

This is a very useful to keep in touch with others and share in meetings. I too had problems after the update and couldn't fix it no matter what I tried! But then I uninstalled it turned off my tablet for a while then reinstalled app and it worked!! Uninstall and reinstall normally didn't work I'm not sure why it worked by turning off tablet in between but it did and it's great to be part of the breakout rooms again. 🤗

Pretty decent app! But i always have an issue connecting to the bluetooth in my car. Mainly, when i take a phone call & then go back to the zoom, the audio will not switch back. I have to log out of zoom, log back in, and then it may connect again. Im using a galaxy s10. 8Mar22: now it freezes after a few seconds, kicks you out, then brings you back, just to do it all over again.

Fine for meetings but really weak scheduling. For one thing, it doesn't use Android convential "clock dial" time selection, but instead plus/minus increments, so it's 30 taps to change :00 to :30. On top of that, if you change the start of the meeting, the end of the meeting doesn't change to keep the length the same. So it's another 30 taps to change 8:00-9:00 to 8:30-9:00. Kind of inexcusable UI to be honest.

The issue is it overrides the device settings. There is no option in the permissions settings to allow the app to manage/change the device settings, but still it changes the device settings. This is a huge security risk in the app. Because when I turn off the auto-rotation and even set the default orientation to landscape, it just changes the device settings as soon as I rotate the screen. I need proper explanation and resolution measures regarding the issue, or else I will escalate the issue.

I've been using zoom for a few months, unfortunately the last week or so I keep getting kicked off. Not only am I getting kicked off,but when I'm allowed back on,I'm unable to see the other participants. I'm also having trouble hearing them as well,my screen keeps freezing. It's becoming extremely frustrating,especially because these are important businesses meetings. I hope these issues get straightened out asap.

When I am on Zoom, I feel glad that I can see and hear the people I'm talking to. It's sad we didn't have this before. In addition at times, my audio and video is affected when transitioning to breakout rooms. I have uninstalled and inststalled the app to get it back to the original. So I hope this helps others in what to do if this happens.

Mic likes to unmute itself without warning especially if you change sound sources. It also won't connect to Bluetooth speakers so your call in meetings are srickly on your phone. You can barely hear and you're paranoid the mic turns on the entire time. Good luck not touching the screen. Also the app stops working and kicks you out of your meeting if you disconnect from wi-fi. Or if you go in and out of wi-fi. So you have to keep switching to cell service.

App is fine except for one major flaw, hence the low rating: there is no way to communicate this feedback but if I've left a meeting, and reopen zoom on my phone using task manager, then it automatically rejoins the meeting (potentially with camera on, even if audio is not yet connected). You can imagine the embarrassment that this can cause at the wrong time.

Pls I request you to check your audio settings. I am a student from a few days I am having an audio problem .Suddenly the volume has decreased and I don't know whether its my phone or earphones but my phone is at full volume and earphones are alright.pls help me as i can't hear anything properly .The volume is too low. My other apps are also affected. If you have any problem in your app .pls fix it.

I enjoy this application more now than previously, it's improved. Not a whole lot different, but it runs smoother and the interaction is simpler and more fluid generally. It can still only really be used for meetings you may want private, but nothing super confidential for security reasons, ie I wouldn't put your bank account information or things like that out here, but it works for some things, like seeing distant relatives, church, even perhaps casual business meetings &/or trainings.

Love the product and service. However some added functionality should be added to each screen view..ie the mute and unmute functions as well as an easy way to jump to the desired screen view without having to continually scroll back and forth accross mutiple screens. And perhaps a small side screen menu such as the galaxy note series offer. A simple tab hardly visible on the screen but once pulled open by the users contains all the tools neatly organized into categories. Just a thought fellas.

I not only like the app but love it too. The app has been quite instrumental especially with the outbreak of the global pandemic of COVID-19. However, I would love it if the app can allow not only the host but also other users to be able to record the sessions, a feature that would greatly benefit the students in their online classes. Otherwise, it's a good app and highly recommend it

I like this app a lot. It is very convenient and possesses of several important features. If you use this for meetings for school and are in a need to screen share then, this app is perfect. Sometimes you might get disconnected but it happens due to poor internet connection. Apart from that, I would totally recommend this app. I have used it from 2020 and still using it for my online/virtual classes..

Zoom has helped me stay in contact with friends, family and associates in a more personal way while staying safe and unfortunately apart thru this pandemic. It has given so many of my friends the same opportunity to stay in touch and speak while seeing the others not just hearing if wanted. The options to turn off the camera or mute microphone allows me to stay as open or as private as I need to at each zoom meeting. Thank you zoom ♥️
