I set up property notifications. However every single time I get one, about 10 minutes later I get another for exactly the same property. Its really irritating. Also the app needs a block/ report function. Many estate agents are either dishonest or incompetent or both, so often list houses wrong. The app also needs the option to exclude park homes, as if you are looking for a whole house, it's very difficult to find them around the dozens of park homes that show up in the list of regular houses
Glitchy. Maps and street view aren't loading properly. You can only save a max 100 properties, and no warning given when you reach the limit (properties just done save). Saved property view doesn't have a 'map' option, or allow you to scroll through images without clicking into the listing (like you can do in the search view). Company just needs to invest in an update to their app. Rightmove app is a bit better in this regard.
Generally ok, but push up notification alerts are annoying. I set up alerts for two searches, but I keep receiving push up notifications twice for the same property, which is very irritating. I have no idea how to fix this. I contacted support but they weren't of much help.
Dear developers, please include a filter for number of bathrooms, similar to the option for filtering bedrooms. The 'keywords' box is useless and does not allow for filtering or excluding properties with only one bathroom. Also, the ability to exclude boathouse and auctions from search. Currently, houses sold at auction are still visible even when you have EXCLUDED from search.
Great app for looking for houses etc. but I feel like it could be a little bit easier, it is like I said great but the properties I feel should be more in the area and price range you choose on the filter setting. But like I said, that is only one slight problem for me, it's still a great app.
The filtering on the search is bad. It keeps showing listings that I am not interested in. Like I would put down one bed room max and no shared accommodation but it would show studio and shared accommodation in the search results. Makes looking for what u want hard.
Generally OK but when saving searches there's a bug that prevents you from saving the "added" field (e.g. if you want to only see properties added in the past 3 days). Quite annoying as I like to look at the map view but it always shows all properties when I only want to see recent ones.
You can't set must haves like garden or parking but you can on the website. Even when you save a search on the website with must haves, they don't carry across to the app. While this limitation exists the app is completely useless to me and I'll continue to use the web.
Okay app but it's kind of broken. There's an option to filter out auction properties. Problem is, it doesn't work. At all. Even after toggling the filter, most properties shown have a guide price ie auction properties.
Easy to use. Would be useful to be able to delete property from my saved list easily. At the moment has to go into each listing and unsave it. Also give an option to be able to reorder my saved items.
Love the new interface, much easier to use and understand. great work!
Terrible app, I spent ages on drawing a map area and saving this now at least twice for it to revert to a standard 15 mile radius and showing properties in areas im not interested in. Back to rightmove it is then.
Amazing and soooo easy to find your dream house I myself, I'm just looking at houses not buying but if you are wanting a new house there is good load of houses in many styles also if your planning to buy please sell through ZOOPLA Its so easy to use!! keeps everything in one place and once shortlisted shows you easily which properties you have done what with making it very easy to stay organised. would definitely recommend.
Doesn't has the floor plan of the properties. Which is highly inconvenient.. Could you guys add this please to the app. Would be super convenient otherwise have to uninstall... As the website has this feature but not the app.

Automatically adds new builds to search even though turned off. Quite annoying. Like others have mentioned rightmove is better and you get new listing faster
Needs an option to mark properties as seen as I get multiple notifications for the same properties, spaced anywhere between 10 minutes and several hours apart and it's finally got to me so much after so many duplicate notifications that I have to give a 1 star review, even though this app doesn't really deserve that. It's still better than rightmove which doesn't notify at all. The filter option should also include holiday homes as I get loads showing up in my area.
Full of bugs - awful! As soon as I sign in, the app gives me a purple screen and stops responding. I can't log out so I have to reinstall the app and never sign in.
properties are added much quicker than other sites and easy to use
It's the best app I found so far when looking for a flat to rent. Homepage is clear and easy to use. You can save flats as shortlisted, contacted, viewing arranged etc. You can even set the date when you have the viewing arranged so it helps to keep everything organised. I also like that the details and map are on one page and I don't need to open many tabs. The app is really easy to use and I highly recommend it!
By far the best app of this type I've used and I've used a lot recently. Although it does have the option for pet friendly properties in the filter, which somehow is a rarety with these apps, when saving a search it doesn't save this option. Biggest gripe would be the saved search notifications. I got a lot of notifications at all times of day and night for new properties added matching my criteria when new properties hadn't been added, so I was inundated with inaccurate match notifications.
It's fine but kind of unnecessary. House hunting and kept getting the messages to try the app, so I did. Pretty much the same as the site, it didn't have any different features to make things easier. If anything the site is better as you can draw your search diamentions on the map. It works fine but kinda pointless as its not any easier than the site
This app is a great tool for narrowing down your housing options. I've been using it to find a place to rent, and the search filter has been a great help. My only criticism is that there's no way to exclude individual properties from a search; perhaps a swipe left function that hides the property from future searches would be helpful.
Saved searches don't seem to work correctly. I'd set up a saved search for a drawn map area on the website, and there are currently 4 properties in that area to my budget and other requirements. I viewed the saved search results in the app, and it found 50 properties, mostly outside the drawn area. I then closed the app and ran the search again, and it found none, expanding the search to show me 2 properties from nearby.
Looking for a flat in London and Zoopla is great for building a folder of options. useful streetview maps. A few more filters would be handy but overall, a very useful app. I wish agents would provide more service charge and lease details to the Zoopla app,
