Zoosk Dating App: Meet Singles

I used Zoosk, about ten years ago, and it was awesome, back then. Now, I can't get the screen to not skip to the next "match", so I can "like" a picture. I can't see the heart/smile icons, unless I scroll up, then it skips to the next. And the price? Ridiculous! Can't tap on anything, that doesn't prompt you for money. I guess I'll uninstall it and go to one of the other apps. Hard pass.

This app overall needs a lot of work. It's rather glitchy and they need to make verification a requirement. A lot of people on here are just trying to scam money. Plus the carousel opinion needs an overhaul. It needs to take personal preferences into account such as age, race, smoker/non-smoker or distance. Just shows random pictures most of which do not follow preferences.

Since 10+ mil ppl downloaded the app at one point in time I thought it'd be worthwhile giving it a chance. Everything, every notification, every like, every view requires payment. Yet, the quality of the app and ppl it has doesn't add up. There are bugs in it, you press buttons that don't work so you're forced to back out of it. Hard to think why I'd willingly pay money when the free version leaves so much to be desired.

Need to rework the notification system. The app only let's you toggle on what medium you get notifications (email, text, phone) but doesn't let you toggle what to get notifications on. For instance, I would like to get notifications on my phone, but only for messages, not every single time a person views my profile or when I get new smart connections. Definitely a quality of life thing that should be standard.

Zoosk is missing some very pertinent capabilities or at least it's not readily evident. There is no search capabilities so that you can find somebody by name and since we all use pseudonyms that makes it all the more difficult to store contact you would like to go back to. I have had data and messages disappear and frequent error messages that say I need a subscription to access that content when I already had a subscription. Their customer service is also severely lacking.

Absolutely horrible app! Been using it for over a week, they keep telling me, "It's a date!" that me and other people want to meet each other, then they want you to leave messages but there doesn't seem to be any way to access your own. There was a free trial, I called to unsubscribe before it was over, they still charged me anyway. Even tho they told me I had successfully unsubscribed, they have given no verification of it and keep pulling money. It's just awful.

Everything except viewing a profile is behind a paywall. Even the most basic feature like messaging, you have to pay to do. Oh, you can send a ❤ but not a message. Trying to LIKE a profile from the 'Smart Pick' feature = PAYWALL. Viewing the profile of someone who's viewed yours is either a PAYWALL or watch a video; I can deal with that. That's really how the messaging should be hamdled. There's really no way to LIKE someone's profile, or message them, without paying $30 or more.

There is no way to remove people from your search, so the same profiles keep popping up. The "who viewed you" feature is supposed to be if you interact with their profile, but just going through your list and dismissing notifications makes you show up on their list. I don't see me using this app much longer.

App works well. Distance indication is completely out which is a big deel for people looking for a companion close to home. It looks like there is a lot of profiles that are not active. The app needs to show when last a profile was online so that you don't waist time on a profile that is not in use.

App needs some tuning, it's glitchy on Android platform, and that's frustrating. Sometimes messages just disappears and never gets delivered to the recipient. I'd like to have the option te add preferencs that can exclude profiles I might not be interested in, including age range, religion etc.

Wrote a review about problems on this app. earlier today. It was posted and now it's nowhere to be found. It went from a really good app a few weeks ago to absolutely awful. Takes forever to load, ignores "passed" profile and recycles them over again. Ignores geographic limits in my preferences, carousel does not give you miles or other important info. It's like blindly choosing. Etc.

Mostly works really well, good graphics, and well laid out. I would like to be able to read profiles and not just see photos in order to decide whether or not to like or message with someone (and vice versa). Sometimes the app does not seem to see the internet connection that I do have.

My profile is under review for the past one week even though the message says it should be completed in 24hrs. And without verification, you can't do much as everytime it pops up a message to complete the profile or validate the email and sends a new email. I have got atleast 10 verification emails so far 😂 One more day and I'll then have to uninstall as there's nothing I can do in the app.

Worse app ever. Can't wait to delete it. I'm only one there because I had to pay to use it. It's slow, and full of creepy people. The filters don't even work, so people, who you would have no interest in, or nothing in common with, or out of your age range, contact you. I would not recommend it. Use Bumble instead, you would be better off, trust me.

There are several instances where I'd like to make a contact from the caressel selection but the contact falls off and the person becomes lost. Also, there are others who persist and pester - no way to block them out, also there are a number of ppl that I'd like to drop from the search mechanism but still see them again and again which wastes my time.

Extremely money-grubbing. Not only does it not provide various forms of basic information (When people were last active, or how to send a message to someone new without using some 'like' function beforehand in the search function.) But you're expected to pay for various forms of information that should be included in it's subscription. Like if someone's read a greeting or a message, or if you want to remain unseen when viewing profiles. I'm disappointed.

I was very timid at first. But having other women view and like my photos gave me the confidence to like and even respond. Easy to navigate and set all your preferences for your perfect match. A great app to get back out there.

Constantly hangs with every use. Tried force stopping, clearing cache, nothing fixes it. "Interests" section is extremely limited from what you can choose and won't let you add or write about your own interests. Will not be renewing subscription.

Miserable. No idea what Carousel is trying to achieve. When you finally get through the carousel selections, the match is >150 miles away. No way to filter results for people close by. Why the heck does search open up when you select a carousel match notification? Why can't you view profiles prior to selecting no, maybe or yes?

Terrible. It is a difficult app to use, very confusing. Service from the people who run the app is non existent. I have been waiting on a response about my account billing for over a week. Connecting to the app is complicated.
