Zosi Smart

I've upgraded my zosi system to the 8mp camera system that uses ethernet cables. So far the system has great video quality. The only downfall is viewing via internet, which may be connection issues, but certain times of the day the system struggles to stay connected to the service. I have spectrum at the home and T-Mobile for the mobile device. As for this app, it is easy to use. Well designed.

Very unstable app. There is about a 40% chance you will be able to connect. Instead it will show the DVR (NVR) is 'off-line' eventhough our extensive WIFI network works flawlessly with all other products. When it does connect, expect glitchy connectivity and long delays should you make the mistake of trying to stream recorded video through the app.

It got 3 stars ONLY because of the product quality itself. As far as user friendly it is "ok". The basic on screen controls are good but you need to add notification features, cloud options, sensitivity settings, and more uses to the product settings itself. Also, there HAS to be a website login for users ON COMPUTERS to modify their features as well, not JUST an app. There has to be a computer friendly version for people to be able to do what is needed. Please address these concerns.

App is not able to transfer live images in full resolution over the internet. This means that playback functionality is not available also. Shows the most of the time a frozen image or a black screen!!! Cannot understand why the app does not reduce automatically the ratio showing less images-per-time for the benefit of clear images. App does not that what is supposed to do.

For the most part the app has become more user friendly and is quite easy for me to view my camera feeds. The 4 stars is only for connectivity issues. I often have to restart my system to have the app connect once again. However I understand it could possibly be internet related but I don't have this problem with my Ring system Overall it's decent and I am happy with it.

My system is wired so i don't have connectivity issues. Alerts for motion and its easy to find in the app for me. Overall it's a great value for the price and easily installed. Only problem i have is that i had to replace the power cord for the cameras twice..not the dvr power cord..otherwise great system for the price. I have mine for over five years and the power cord was the only issue in those five years

One of the most important features of this app is not working; I'm talking about the video PLAYBACK. We've been reporting this issue for months now and so far it has not been fixed. In addition to the playback not working when you go to the messages and select motion detection and smart detection no seems to be working. At the end without those features this app and the camera system is useless. I don't see a fix in the near future so I don't recommend this camera system to anyone. 1 star

Idk if its the app or it might be the product im using but the wifi connection is junk I have an extension right by it and it loses signal all the time, I have a memory card and the playback doesn't even work. Guess this is what happens when u go cheap for security. Overall good quality video but that doesn't give an excuses why the fresh out the box equipment is junk

Literally looses connection when I need it the most, even tho the receiver is connected via ethernet cable and high speed data that never disconnects or has problems, even my router says it's connected and sending signal to the receiver. The receiver it self has the little green light on indicating it is getting signal. I Literally have to restart the whole system in order to get signal back. It only last like 3 days and the when I open my zozi app it tells me there is no connection again

Having used the app alongside our camera system for a year it does the job it's a little bit slow to respond but I'm using the app on an old android device, we tend to use it less now because the novelty of having a security camera system has worn off, it's there when we need it and doesn't take up any extra space providing us with the ability to save a picture of an incident to print out and hand to the police if necessary is good I've recommended to family and friends

Awesome picture and works great but the only issue I have is my videos are in mirror image and no option to fix it. Contacted tech and the wanted me to send my username and password. Absolutely not even going to do that guess I will just figure out how to be Dyslexic.

Since recent update, can not retrieve playback. Update--since deleting the new app, and reinstalling the older version, all cameras work correctly again, thank you! Update...5/3/22... Put in new micro SD card, playback is working well.

I have 2 DVRs, ZR08TN and ZR08MN and have a PTZ camera connected to the TN. Why won't Zosi smart and AVSS control the PTZ camera in the ZR08TN DVR? It does work on the 2 C289s. Please update to make PTZ control on the DVRs. Playback is clunky and slow to load up but does work. Still, Zosi is better than some others.

The app is fine but you can't enable push notifications for motion detection because the cameras or the app misread motion a lot, making the push notifications extremely annoying. Just the shadow of a tree slightly swinging in a breeze will trigger it even if set to low sensitivity.

If I could rate this app any lower, I definitely would. Zosi is cheap for a reason. The app is terrible, very unresponsive, extremely slow, often doesn't allow playback, often times out, etc... I recommend avoiding Zosi ALTOGETHER.

In rare occasions I actually need footage, it's never available on the app. I had these cameras for few years now and they have been pretty useless. Getting all sorts of error messages (like 'video format unsupported ')

Can't even make an account, when creating a password, even when inputting a crazy long complicated password... It says "password does not conform to the rules!". OK, that's great, cyber security and all... BUT IT NEVER TELLS YOU WHAT THE RULES ARE. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FOLLOW PASSWORD RULES WITHOUT KNOWING THEM? Finally got ahold of support after they reached out to ME regarding this review. They informed me of the password requirements. Three stars because the app is great.

Great except you need to update the main screen when you open the app so that when I change the look to the CCTV icon instead of look at the last view of all screens working, it stays that way when I reopen the app and not change back to the screens view, I like the CCTV hdd look better

God forbid I actually have to use this incase of a brake in or anything. The app has terrible service as does the computer system. Majority of the time it will not load the playback for us to even see what's going on. Had I known that the service on this was this bad I would not have gotten it. I dont recommend this camera system at all!!

The video screen doesn't update to the present live feed when you click in and you have to click the screen you want to see and it takes forever to catch up. Other security systems I had you can open app and see what is going on actual live feed

Its a good app to be able to be able to watch the cameras while you're away. Only down fall is it detects everything of every size so only if you can set the frame box to pick up only certain sizes of objects

App is trash. 💩💩💩💩 Support non existent. Can not complete setup on S8 via phone app. Screen interface does not adjust to screen can't move past scanning of qr code, cause screen does not move up or down allowing you to press next button.🤔🤔🤔 Joke👎🤮
