Update 11/28/21 Worked for a while now can no longer log on at all anymore via app for days. I've held out for over a year in hopes the company would figure out how to provide basic reliable connection to a much needed basic device. I'll be switching brands and never looking back nor longer reccomending them. Can no longer load cameras or log in on app. Nothing has changed. Tried redownloading but nothing. Able to view from PC but not mobile. Not certainly helpful when need to view remotely.

Had this system several years, video quality is pretty poor and fairly useless at night. The app is terrible and if you leave the app you have to close it fully to reconnect to the cameras. Now it no longer connects to the cameras. Someone else said they fixed it by using 365secu hd but that doesn't connect either. App doesn't work at all any more

Pretty useless. Confusing UI lacks even vague explanation, preferring a system of unintelligible hieroglyphs and a bit of text. I tried to add my DVR, but it failed with no reason given. Googling the problem has no notable results. So I checked their official troubleshooting. No zosi, it's not okay to tell people to shut off their firewall on their router as a solution. It didn't even work when I tried. Also, seriously, this didn't need to ask for so many permissions. Seems suspicious.

Used for 6 months. I had an issue where the app would constantly drop out cameras from the live view. I could do playback from all cameras. I contacted Zosi service and they were able to give me new firmware for my DVR that fixed the problem. Working flawless ever since. Easy to use the app and see real time view on 3 cameras. Like that I can save picutres, etc. At first i was disappointed, but now I am quite satisfied with the overall performance.

Zosi customer service is a joke, at best. The first issue i had, they where on it. They seem to no longer care. The only way to contact them is through email, using a translator app. Which can mess things up. I've been emailing them weekly for the past two months, no response. As for the app - when it works, its so-so. Takes a long time to load your camera video. It would be nice to pick how many cameras to view, at one time. Currently, its 1, 4, 9, 16.

Updated app doesn't work! Droid users should look into getting a newer version from the Zosi website. I managed to get version 2.4.0.zv downloaded to a pc from the support page. From the pc I just connected phone via USB then sent the dl file to the phones downloads folder and installed it on the phone from there. Had to allow unsecured apps to install and give it a lot of permissions, but it seems to work perfectly, like it did 2 previous versions before 1.3.7. What a hot mess though!

As I have gone over the reviews over the last year I see zosi has not improved it's performance. The system as a closed circuit unit works adequately, the remote viewing has ALWAYS had issues. It took us months to be able to just connect it to our tablet or phonesWe bought this one as it was affordable. The best advice I can give anyone when purchasing a DVR system is to be sure the tech support is in the region you live or will be using the system. Zosi has no live tech support.

Its ok. I've had this system about 3 years and it is still working good. The app is not the best. You can't see alot of buttons on your preview screen you just have to guess where they would be to use them. System pretty basic and for some reason a little tricky to use but gets the job done.

Login Server down at least once a week for hours. Login failed error while they are down. Takes alot of battery power from my phone. App locks up switching between scanning threw playback alot. Must open your firewall on your modem or you can only veiw while connected to your local network. Tech Support seems to be more automated no help at all. Do not buy any DVR that requires this app.

This app is not friendly as a previous one I had with another company. I installed two cameras yesterday and sometimes I get Live view, sometimes I don't. I got to preview playback two out of the 20 times I've tried. When u scroll to a latter time it keeps returning to the default time. The app developers need to do some more research.

Worst app I've ever used! First time setup is so horrific that I gave up entirely and uninstalled after messing with it for an hour. After registering for a new account and giving more personal information than I wanted to, I ran into the next issue. Upon trying to log into the app, there is a hard length limit coded into the password field!! WHAT?? So the password I had picked during registration was too long, and I wasn't even able to enter it!! tLDR: don't use, figure out rtsp instead

ok, It's been a few weeks using the camera and the app. Not sure if its the dvr or the app but the app is having a hard time staying connected. Also, payback thru the app is impossible... but it also doesn't work on the DVR either. So far so good. read all the other reviews and my experience had been positive. A month after using the app and all I get is "Connetion Failed" for all four cameras!

The app was working well the first few days, then after a while everytime I try using it, i cant vew the cameras, always getting a connection error, even if i try to re-setup my system itll work for a day then again, cant view my cams or even replay footage, not only that but its difficult to navigate through the app, poorly made. Needs better stabilization and better connection system to the cameras, as they always tend to "loose connection" over time

Does not work at all, I can't view any of the cameras. All it says is connecting failed, there are no settings to make any adjustments no way to test any of the connections for issues. This app is absolute garbage and is only here to get your email and personal information to sell to third Parties

Never had a problem with the app connecting except when the wifi was nk strong enough to support the bute rate. However, when I click on a camera screen to see it , I can not get HD option anymore nor can I get the previous options of taking video or a photo from the app of a single camera like it shows in the preview photos for this app. Anyone know why??

Anybody else having the same issue as me? Went to bed last night with cameras streaming fine across my wifi network in the app on my tablet. Woke up this morning and now my pc client connects just fine and streams. But I have the app on 3 different devices and none of them will even log into the app. Keeps saying (connecting failed) and won't even login to get to the camera screen to try to load a camera... this seems to be a server issue as I can't get NOTHING to work in the app

It worked fine before the update. Since then I can not get it to work. The support from zosi tech is well...... diabolical. I have emailed them so many times and I get a reply weeks later telling me to give them details and all the details are all in the email with pictures of the problem and serial numbers etc. The next email I got was telling me they do not receive pictures in emails. COME ON... Problem still not solved. This is one of the reasons I bought the camera set for the mobile viewing.

Did work, although bit clunky, but sort of got remote camera view on android phone. But now this last month nothing. Logs in ok to app, can add device n cameras to app, but cannot connect to cameras live view. Connection failed, no camera connected. Whats up with the app lately? Is someone going to fix it ?latest zosi app update on my ipad also screwed up connection. Disappointed. Beware, Don't update the app.

Every time I go into this app, it shows no images. Sometimes I have to uninstall then reinstall it. Other times I wait a few minutes and it connects again. It's very frustrating and not at all reliable or stable. Please fix as it has the capacity to be a really good app

Broken since update. Won't load any cameras. Shows Chinese characters so idk what the error is... Fast loading simple app! not sure why everyone is saying you have to reload the app to work. It's great for me on 3 devices over the past 2 years. I check my cameras about 5 times per day since it only takes about 10 seconds to see them. The company has great customer support btw.

App DOES NOT WORK. This would be a great system for the price if the app worked. You would think the tech's at Zosi would read all the bad reviews and get the app working again. If you don't really need to be able to view your system live from a mobile device then this is the system for you, but otherwise look into buying something else. Edit...... Just downloaded and an using Zosi Smart App. This app works fine. Connected right to system and am live viewing no problem. Download Zosi Smart!

Bought it, set it up downloaded the app, worked fine, well at least to view and record. Now, phone broke, bought a new one, downloaded the app, scanned the zosi box again same name, doesn't work. Says failed, so had to reset the zosi system and do it all again for it to work. Does work, but not very user friendly

We bought this system about two years and we have had nothing but issues since we installed it. CS tried to help, but issues kept coming. Pictures jumping, tried everything, system constantly initializes, date changes, lose all data. Trying to review previous footage is a nightmare.
