This is barely average, for $3 its ok. As a mobile studio one would think this would perform as such. No time signatures in piano roll, no real eq values; just arbitrary numbers. Editing is wonky and no ability to load own samples as advertised. Almost unusable. If there is a Z2 coming out hope it will be more polished and free to Z1 owners.

We all know the Android platform is pretty much rubbish for audio due to latency and I don't want to hammer the dev since the term 'Android audio developer' means the deck is stacked against them. I appreciate what they are trying to do however this will need a few updates.

there are less than a dozen insteuments in it. With the exception of the unlikely case that i should need exactly these instruments, i cannot make any use at all of this app. An email to the dev regarding what to do with this did not result in any answer. Also it was written that one could import instruments but i did not find any way how to do that. The app is so buggy that even i could not save my work because of a bug (no, it was not some trial version but the paid version!).

It's looking good so far, but it could really use more instruments. I mean that in the most severe way imaginable. Also, the cells are a bit too small for comfort, and I often make mistakes when placing them on the piano roll. More mixing options would be great as well. Another thing that I would love to see implemented is the ability to make one note 'slide' into another one, if that makes any sense. Like, raising/lowering the pitch by connecting two cell blocks or something like that. Certainly my favorite sequencer to date on the market. I'm eager to see more updates coming along. UPDATE: I've recently been stumbling across two problems that occur quite often. The first is that half of the songs that I save as projects fail to load when I attempt to open them, and they're rendered useless. The second is that random notes will become mute and not emit any sound whatsoever. I don't know what causes this, but it's very frustrating when trying to compose. One second it's working fine, and the next, half of your song stopped playing and it sounds void. Deleting and replacing cell blocks don't fix the problem. Please, please, please address these issues. Thanks.

I needed something for now till FL Studio for android comes out and this is a pretty solid app I found on FL forums. I could tell by the reviews that by more people buying this app the app should have some really good updates soon. Right off the download you are able to make tunes and you are able to make very tiny edits too using on screen buttons that make touch-only very practical, it takes about a half hour to get the hang of but is butter after that. I have a tiny little screen on my phone and I could see getting a tablet in the future to really push the limits of this app, but for now, I can record audio and program midi parts on the bus and wherever I'm at on the fly. The stock sounds that it comes with are very good (the drums bump!) and the effects are nice too, I will say that the developer has gone with quality over quantity when it comes to the effects, there's not a lot of effects but they are top notch. A year from now and I bet people will wonder how they got it for $3. Anyone know how to find a manual on this?

I managed to create some pretty good music with this only to find I couldnt save. It desperately needs instructions. When compositions are still still small I could almost understand what I was doing but then I found that blocks of music behaved differently as the pieces became more complex. Please update expand and refine this poor APP, otherwise put it out of it's misery

Fantastic idea and range of functions but the app has some usability issues. It's pretty clunky/annoying to navigate through and selecting and de-selecting notes in the piano roll is a pain. People should remember this is a phone/tablet app... It obviously won't compare to a DAW meant for use on desktops! Overall, good app with the potential to be great with some future updates hopefully.

When are we gonna see more instruments and bug fixes so it doesn't feel like I've just purchased a very EARLY and BUGGY beta version of FL Studio Android??? Come on guys I have gave you a 5 star rating because I know this could be a awesome if not the best portable DAW on Android....

I love this app, it was exactly what I was looking for to compose quick songs on the go, I can't wait to see where it goes! There does seem to be one problem with saving. When I try to type a name to save a project as, the text doesn't show up and it resets the name to "Untitled".

Not the apps problem...android is light yrs behind apple for technology and apps. When u want a great APP, think APPle !

I think this baby is gonna be a great software. What I would like to be able to do from this software is record a synthesizer(standalone synth) that plays in the background. And a tablet version.

Needs more sounds, and it should be made simpler to delete, or remove sounds, and paterns. All in all good app. Not mad I got it.

Can't import WAV, can record audio. Can add effects, broke audio output when played with Delay too much. Can edit settings, forgettable scattered floating dialogs.

I purchased this application a while back and used it quite often on an LG optimus g. I have another phone now and every time i attempt to down load it says invalid package.

You should add a feature that will enable USB Piano and Audio In USB Microphone to work along side jelly bean 4.1. This would enable more possibilities for the software on Android. Plus you should have a vst plug-in feature that allows VST plug-ins to load with the parameters being the same as you use for the current Synth Engine.

Great app.but only one thing.you should add import of mp3 or wav from mobile library.

It's got a gross design and it doesn't work.

Very good mini studio for up coming music composers and producers but has limited amount of space to save projects, constantly force closes while trying to open other projects...

good alp. best around very cpu intensive. galaxy siii probably needed.

This is an awesome app other than the fact that I can't use it. It is not easy to use because the piano roll is so small and you have to click on a different mouse to move or a different mouse to select.

Wheres the user manual ? And why are there so few sounds to choose from ? Seems like it could be cool but No Help or Manual !!?? Whats the deal here?

I really wanted an app that could record your voice and make music at the same time.
