The hardware and the app are a disaster. I purchased recently and have had no luck getting the device connected to wifi. Should have read all the poor ratings here before purchasing. Please don't waste your money buying hardware or downloading software from these thieves!!! Might be time to move on Zsight. Sad excuse of an organisation !!!
This app is garbage. Besides the face that this app has not been updated since 2018, it does not support all Zmodo as it describes. It does not connect correctly with the Zmodo doorbell cameras. I uninstalled this app right away, and changed my password just in case.
to connect my Wi-Fi cameras wasn't that easy had to reset them multiple times till I finally got two of my camera setup. tried to set up a third camera and it says session failed log out and log back in done it multiple times and cannot get my third camera setup the app does work but they want you have to re login every time to get your alerts.
Will not connect to wifi, camera will not see qr code, manual setup does not connect, lan cable will not connect. I have a swann system connected to the same router that works perfect. Save your $$$. Stay away from zmodo!!!!
It does a ok job,motion detection is usually active only at night,it works well when checking my cameras and I'm away from home,the app has a few bugs and havnt been updated in three years,I wish the dev made this better,but it is better than nothing so I give it three stars.
Didn't think it worked at first but once I put in the correct username and pass it acted as if it did'nt want to connect but I kept hitting the connect button and it connected and works just fine no issues here!!
I have zmodo cctv system a d this app works perfectly with the DVR. When I try to see my cameras with my computer (in the same WiFi network DVR is connected) it doesn't show my stream! 😰
every time I open camera's on mobile it says device off line also no support from zomodo. seriously thinking of buying new cameras. when they work there ok but most of the time off line. I keep trying to reset also won't accept change of password. Wondering if I get any response to review ????
I constantly have to log out and log in. Will not display in high definition while using my mobile network (4G). No updates in 8 months, this whole system is now junk.
Never logs in, crashes, freezes, does not work. Cameras are good bit you can't use the app or view remotely. L
Issues. Open app, network problem detected. Force app closed. Need to do this 4 or 5 times, then it logs in and I can see my nvr, video etc. Then you get "zsight has stopped" anywhere from 1-10 minutes later. Wash rinse repeat
Works great for my needs. I have latest Android, can see my Zmodo cameras no prob. Has it crashed? Yes, but restarting the app on my phone stabilizes it.
Absolutely garbage! I recommend anyone who is thinking about using ZSight not to. Never works always has to load for 30 min. But the time it loads someone could break into my home! Not safe please STAY AWAY!!!!!
Very difficult to get anything set up, nothing flows. The app is really really bad. Can't comment on the camera, as I haven't seen it in use yet. Disaster so far.
Face it, ZMODO just gave up. Failed. They don't even try any more, just a matter of time until they're belly up or taken over by a REAL company that believes in quality, service and updates.
Installs easily, realtime viewing and talk is great but playback option which is crucial is not available.
This app is HORRIBLE! I have the highest speed internet package, but yet it steady tells me that my internet connection is too slow or that my camera is CONSTANTLY offline.
App is always closing. Even with great wifi ill get "network problem detected. Im pretty sure its their network.
Trash. Won't connect to any cameras and logs out every time I try to connect them.
Pretty poor. Always freezes. Can't playback on data, only on connected wifi.
Very buggy always freezing or not allowing you to open app with a network error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck fixing it. Will never in my life time buy another product that uses this garbage app. Support is terrible as well and couldn't figure it out. Only reason y'all are in business is because people buy cameras and don't realize they are forced to use this crappy app until it's too late. Sneaky back door trick...
