The Zulu Mobile client is free to download and use, and requires the licensed Zulu Server Module to be installed on FreePBX or PBXact phone systems. It is designed only for users of FreePBX and PBXact phone systems, version 14 and above. Third party PBX phone systems are not supported.
With Zulu Mobile, your office extension follows you wherever you are in the world, letting you make and receive office phone calls as if you were sitting in your office. It is fully integrated with your Android device's native calling app so that Zulu Mobile phone calls work like standard phone calls. Integrated push notification technology helps preserve your device's battery life when not in use and will automatically ring your device on inbound calls

When the app closes, inbound calls are no longer possible to receive. Turning off all battery saving features does help keep the app running in the background for a little while, but once the app process stops running inbound calls are no longer possible. If this issue were to be fixed, I'd give this 5 stars.
This app works ok... It is kind of a mess to setup. And it is pretty poor for notifications etc. You can NOT receive a phone call if the app is closed. If you get a new chat message it doesn't notify, no pop ups no phone buzz, etc. Call history is erased Everytime the app is closed instead of syncing with the server.
Chat and call logs are never up to date or on file. Yet, they only appear in notifications. Why? Stupid Java! --- New problem, and worst ever: Zulu is not letting any notification, any media, any ringtone, anything make any noise, at all; not even while set at full volume. --- Formerly: You are not letting us select Zulu as a secondary phone application under the kernel. Very disturbing. Additionally, Java runtime is crashing Zulu from calling any extension, at all.
There is lot issues on both desktop and mobile app, mobile app takes through native dial pad so ita difficult to get logs on zulu app and sometimes voice quality issues on both desktop and mobile app, callee could not hear voice.
Setting up server is a pain. When I finally connect phkne keeps ringing after call is picked up. I am using a note 8 over cell data. The promise is great but in reality buggy all the way.
This is the worst telephny system in the world. Nothing works. Keeps crashing, the other end can't hear me and it doesn't ring. I don't understand why developers don't care.
Works. Sometimes it displays the previous caller's info on an incoming call rather than the proper incoming caller info.
Terrible, zulu delay and rings even deskphone was picked up. Please fix the app for incoming calls.
Even if correct Let's Encrypt certificate is installed, that every other app recognize and validate, Zulu refuses to accept it and connection with server using Zulu is not possible.

This app is completely useless on the S10. If I dial a phone number I don't hear anything until someone picks up on the other end, no ringing, and if it goes to voicemail it's hit or miss if that will come through. Incoming calls rarely work. The app doesn't persist in the background, so you have to always make sure it's open and running. Integration with the primary phone app seems flawed. Overall disappointed considering I have a premium android device.
