New Features:
• To buy tickets you will be redirected to the ZVV ticket app.
Timetable information:
• Door-to-door timetable throughout Switzerland
• Favourites and the „last query“ enable you to quickly insert places and connections
• Queried connections can be accessed later offline
• Integrated real-time information for all trains, buses and trams within the ZVV network as well as for trains throughout Switzerland (local traffic outside ZVV excluded)
• Push notifications about delays, platform changes and traffic information for user-specified connections
• Latest traffic information including a search option
• Tab “Traffic Info” with line-specific overview of all current traffic information and line-specific push notifications
• Function “Barrier Free Access” (more information www.zvv.ch/handicap, in German)
• Easy-to-understand symbols (in green, orange and red) indicate whether or not a planned connection can be maintained
• Alternative connections in case of incidents (red symbol) on the same route
• The option «Query according to current traffic situation» finds connections on alternate routes in case of incidents
• Real-time arrivals and departures for specific stops (e.g. in 3’ or 15:34 +2’)
• Information about disruptions of service (maintenance, constructions, events etc.)
• Possibility to add a customized connection or timetable to the homescreen
Ticket information / purchase:
• The ZVV timetable app provides simplified access to ZVV tickets via the ZVV ticket app. The purchasing process is started within the ZVV timetable app and completed in the ZVV ticket app. To take advantage of this service, the ZVV ticket app must also be installed
• Fast and simple selection within the ZVV timetable app through its topseller list and via the button «Price/Buy» in the journey planner
• Transfer of choice of class (1st or 2nd), reduction (adult or ½) and validity (single ticket or day pass) to the ZVV ticket app
• Choice of number of additional zones for extension tickets
Other features:
• Practical display of route network and fare zone maps
• Favourites function for tickets, destinations and connections («Take me home», «Take me to work», etc.). Favourites will not be deleted after update
• Display of the nearest stops based on the user’s current position
• Search for stops, addresses and points of interest
• Simple display of local area maps and pedestrian routes within the application
• Interface to calendar to save individual connections
• Low-floor service information for trams and buses (timetable data)

All in all a very good and accurate app, but only if you are well accustomed with the transport network. Otherwise you might find yourself making a looong detour with several changes just to save 1 (!) minute of time instead of taking the direct way and arriving 1 min later. Or travelling through half of the canton instead of walking 5 min to a nearby stop by foot. So great for commuting on connections you know-otherwise use google maps instead.
Very good to find best communication route. It's a pity "home" & "work" icons appear at random previous addresses and the saved ones don't.
Great app, everything I need. There's only one issue, I cannot unsubscribe from line notifications no matter how many times I try. Kind of annoying
why is this damn app searching and forcing me to go back after each damn entry on search mask?! This is wasting my data volume same as my lifetime! Maybe the app designer try to use the brain. ...if possible! Thanks!
The time tables are not corect, planer is useless. There is no way to orientate as there are no real maps available. Im waiting in the rain because the app sent me to a non existing bus.
If you need the app to know if a cobra or an old tram is coming, forget it, it's very unreliable and mostly wrong.
With the last update the app declined in performance, now it just never works. Can you please fix this issue? I really like this app.
Gives unrealistic connections, as ZVV tram drivers do not wait for passengers to change trams. The app developer has obviously never travelled by tram in Zurich.
An invaluable tool if traveling to Switzerland. Easy to use and make using public transport a breeze.

It does give you results for the actual/current time that you are searching. Results are always for hours before. I need to press next over and over to get to the current time
After migration to samsung S9 shortcut for a connection isnt displayed on the home screen.
Simple UI, useful, works fine. Only one recommendation: selected options should be highlighted at least a little.
Why the shortcut is not called like the app, why it's called Fahrplan? Please call the shortcut like the app and not after the function. Confusing and idiotic.
To buy Ticket you need second App?! No Indiction about price , No visibilty , possibilty of other Tickets eg Bike , maybe in a 3rd App?
It has programming errors and you cannot provide feedback. It's weakly developed and onboarded.
Good app. Wouldn't be able to get around w/out it. But: why is there only 1 choice of trams from Kunsthaus to Klusplatz? Both the 3 and the 8 go by there; only the 3 is an option....
New bug: the app doesn't know what time it is anymore... Suggests connections 2 hours ago when I ask for "now"
Timetables not updated...gave old connections and I lost my connection 😞. Had to wait 30 pointless minuites. I found out I had to uninstall and reinstall again. Generally works fine. I would suggest an automatic timetables update.
Pity you can't use the offline route search, even knowing it would be without timetables.
They say that people will only ever report something if it's not properly working. I'm certainly not the one to debunk this. The app often crashes. The timetables need to be updated in shorter intervals and more accurately. I've noticed that some footpaths are wrongly calculated (e.g. Oberwinterthur-Hegifeld). Overall, it may all sum up to be a drop in the bucket, but it definitely makes life unpleasant not knowing whether the information displayed is incorrect and you might miss your connection. Ugh.
But it simply only crashed since 2 weeks whenever i try to search a connection. I used to use it every day for years without any problems, and i liked it. Had to uninstall and reinstall 2 times. Now its working again...
As of February 9 2016 this app is not working anymore. It was difficult to use anyways so I deleted it.
I love this app for accuracy. Since a few months though I'm seriously considering switching to SBB. This is because ZVV gives you results even before you have a chance to edit them. It just takes whatever you have in your search and goes with it. So you need to go back and forth to enter what you need. I was hoping it will be fixed but it continues that way. Edit: 5 stars due to update fixing this issue; excellent service, keep up the good work!
