App will not log me in says I need a valid network connection. I used multiple WiFi connections and cellular from different areas. Have no issues with other online stuff but problems with this. The way I see it is this is part of my membership when you look to see what the membership includes so I am paying (in part) for a feature that does not work.
Amazing content, very poor app. At beast the app is clunky, but frequent issues prevent using it at all. Constantly crashes on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A. Access to all the old issues is fantastic! Fixed: Unable to login, says it needs internet connection, though I do have one. Username and password works on the website.
Its good to have all the issues available for downloading. The actual app doesn't do a very good job as a reader, but when you download an issue, it is saved locally as a pdf, so you can browse to it and read it in acrobat or another pdf viewer.
It's does not work on my Pixel C tablet. App can open and can download the issue, but when I tried to the open the issue, app has stopped. Just can't open the issue. I wish I can read those issues on Google Play Books app, not zymurgy app. It's just inconvenient.
Disappointed that you can't read the magazine with my tablet in landscape mode. It's also a pain when I have to put the magazine down and remember where I left off, because this app puts me back to the beginning. Why can't the AHA just make my subscription available on the Kindle instead of making your own app. Amazon already has an ereader, just stick to brewing, not making apps.
Quick working on tablet and all other devices just spins. A great benefit of membership but worthless if you can't read and don't get hard copy.
Update: I received an email from developer suggesting I uninstall and reinstall the app. It appears to be working now. Thanks! Installed app, but says my internet connection does not meet minimum requirements.
This app does not work on my android tablet. It indicates that an issue has been downloaded, but when i click on the downloaded issue the app freezes then closes.
I'm having trouble downloading issues. It keeps telling me that my internet connection does not meet the minimum requirements. It tells me this even if I disconnect from my home wifi and connect to the AT&T network..........
Love the AHA. Love Zymurgy. Dislike the app. Crashes when trying to open the magazine. The app has issues, but not the ones it should.
Won't let me log in on my tablet, error message valid network is needed. Installed latest update still get same error message.
Zymurgy has stopped. Thats the error message I get when trying to open a downloaded magazine. Then it closes.
The app crashes whenever I try to open an issue on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A. It has been this way for a while.
The app doesnt work well anymore. Cant search for anything. Wont respond. Keep up with the updates guys...
Crashes immediately upon opening. Was this even tested? Edit: They fixed the app. Works great now!
I get the "login failed- no network connection" error on my tablet, but it (sort of) works on my Pixel 3a XL
App worked for one issue. Crashed ever since. Maybe just this version?
App crashes on startup. Reinstalled, same situation.
Not working on Android.. Keep crashing on start up
Does not open closes and return to previous page
Not compatible with all device
Will no longer load. Times out on log in.
Update: Works magically! Excellent for cutting down on reading material that I have to pack when traveling.
Working again. Seems like there are issues aftet each update. When it works, its great.
Basically just a bare-bones PDF viewer. The two most helpful features would be: content formatted to the screen; remembering your place when you open the app
Seems to be working again. It wouldn't load issues for some time, but this appears to have been rectified.
Was getting network errors before updating, now the download never completes and I am automatically logged out. I have been reading the reviews and its one issue after the other. Its a shame for an organisation with members in the thousands. Maybe its time to assign your app development to someone more experienced. Apart from the issues, the app lacks of basic functionality. Its a pity because the content of the magazine is great.
