Army & Marine Corps Run Pacer for PT Test (APFT/PFT)

Train and run your personal best race - this app keeps you from starting off too fast or finishing too slow!

Select your track, set your pace, and the Run Pacer will let you focus on running - no headphones required.

Six custom beat tracks help you maintain your pace, and both lap time and projected finish time are displayed to let you know you are on track for your goal time.

Here's how it works:
- Set your goal time and select your track from the options screen
- Set your pace at the bottom of the main screen, and start the race
- The lap time is displayed after you finish each lap
- The estimated finish time for the race is calculated after each lap
- An email with the race finish time and lap times is prepared for you at the end of the race

Additional information:
- This app will work on your iPhone, iPod or iPad
- While running, you can change your pace or the beat track that you hear
- Sound is optimized for use without headphones, as they have been wisely banned from your test
- The Estimate / Goal part of the screen will turn green if you're meeting your goal time, or red if you're falling behind
- Progress is easy to track with the laps display at the top of the screen
- Partial laps are supported. For example if you are running 37.3 laps on the JB Lewis-McChord Indoor Track, you do the partial lap first and hit the lap complete button at the end of the partial lap - the remaining laps are tracked normally
- You can set a pace boost for the end of the race, in the options screen. Set the number of bpm that you want your pace to increase when you have one minute remaining. You'll hear a whistle at that point and the pace will automatically increase
- After hitting the Lap Complete button, it is disabled for two seconds to prevent logging two laps at once

Good luck!
