This app is an alternative to the traditional matrix for calculating the required diameter of a plastic pressure pipe (PN16 and PN12,5) used for water transportation.
The app will apply parameters such as pipeline length, flow rate, system speed and pressure loss to calculate the required diameter of the pipe. The app is suitable for IRRIROC (PVCo), PVCu and for PE100 Polyethylene.
The app also calculates the hydraulic parameters and makes a comparison between water speed, pressure loss and water hammer for each possible solution.
