ContactBridge

Employers, local governments or universities using the Everbridge Mass Notification Platform to deliver vital information during emergency incidents, critical activities or weather events, can now get the most current notifications and share responses via the Everbridge ContactBridge application.

ContactBridge, Everbridge’s free, native mobile application, facilitates two-way conversations with mobile recipients. Users can deliver messages and push notifications to recipients on their mobile devices, request additional information through polling, and provide recipients with the ability to submit their own on-the-scene reports.

The ContactBridge application adds a rich new dimension to mass communications and creates situational intelligence by allowing mobile users to share geo-location information, pictures, and free-form text – providing eyes and ears on the scene as a situation develops. Subscribing organizations and communities can send notifications to mobile devices without the use of SMS or email.

Subscribing organizations and communities may also provide users with the ability to initiate messages and share messages with their extended network directly from the Everbridge ContactBridge application via E-mail, Text Message or Twitter.

ContactBridge feedback is captured in a centralized dashboard. Users can easily view poll responses and other requests for data sorted by timeframe, or use the unsolicited tab to review broader feedback from the community.

With full control over privacy settings, users can decide what information is shared and sent to a specific organization or community government.

NOTE: This application requires users to be registered users of the Everbridge Web Member Portal.  This application also requires a current subscription for the notifying organization or community to the Everbridge Mass Notification Platform. Battery consumption may increase when location services are enabled.

NOTE:
"Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life."
