The GPB Education app is your gateway to free digital learning resources for the classroom. Through the app, teachers and students will be able to access the Georgia Studies digital textbook and take virtual field trips across Georgia.
About the GPB Education Digital Library:
-Aligned to the latest Georgia standards, the Georgia Studies digital textbook is a fully interactive platform that takes the place of the traditional version and utilizes innovative technology to engage students in the history of Georgia.
-With embedded videos, interactive elements, primary source documents and quizzes, the digital textbook promotes inquiry-based learning, enhances critical thinking, and improves learning outcomes.
-NEW! The teacher edition for the digital textbook was recently added to the app library. Teachers must register for a login and password to get access. Go to www.gpb.org/textbook for more information. The teacher version of the textbook offers constructed response questions, graphic organizers, instructional strategies, and more!
-The virtual field trips are aligned to the digital textbook and allow students to explore sites around the state without leaving the classroom.
