PATH Companion

The PATH Companion is a complimentary tool to help our friends track their exercise progress with the PATH web application. The app is split into 3 great parts:

1) Automatic Progress Submission using one of two awesome options:

Option a) Allow PATH Companion to automatically submit daily 'Energy Burned' records to your online PATH account using the data collected by your Apple Watch. If you use an Apple Watch with your iPhone, then this is the option for you! Asked once initially at app launch, if the app detects that you use an Apple Watch, you will be asked if you want to enable this feature. If so, follow the prompts and forget about it as from now on, each day sometime after midnight, yesterday's energy burned data will be automatically submitted. Boom!

Option b) Use of the Pedometer Tool: Simply:
a) Click “Start”
b) Place your mobile device somewhere on your body, such as in your pocket or on an armband.
c) Begin walking or running.
d) When you are done, click “Stop & Save”.

When you click “Stop & Save”, your steps are automatically uploaded to your online PATH account (as long as you have a data connection – if not the upload will save and automatically happen as soon as you are connected again). Like magic!

2) Manual Enter Progress Tool: Just like our online application - works with either Daily Energy Burn record reporting or the Pedometer tool. You can enter progress based on calories burned, steps taken, miles walked or time spent exercising. When entering time spent exercising you’ll find our beloved “Activities-to-Conversion” list. Convert any activity you can imagine to steps or calories. Load up an entry, choose a mood, click submit and, like magic, the information is saved to your online PATH account.

Our app is also compatible with Facebook and Twitter. Post your entries to Facebook or tweet about them for kudos from your peers. Peer support, after all, is key to your wellness success (along with tracking progress).
