Snap+Match

Snap & Match is designed to recommend outfits based on a given article of clothing. This is done by using a series of machine learning models and a series of saved “inspiration” outfit photos provided by the user. The goal of Snap+Match is to help people get dressed a little bit easier and maybe even get around to finally wearing that shirt that’s we all have in the back of our closets.

F.A.Q.
q: Can I press anywhere?
a: Yes, to get started press down anywhere on the screen (where there isn't already a button) to capture an article of clothing. Once you have 1 or 2 articles you are satisfied with, press the colorful "match" button in the lower-center of the screen to get your recommendations. (Tip: you can align the dashed-box in the center of the screen with the color you want to capture.)

q: What are the red numbers next to the icons?
a: These numbers indicate how many inspiration outfits you have saved and where they came from. Big numbers on the Pinterest icon are how many full outfits came from Pinterest, while big numbers next to the hanger icon are how many came from your photos. The small numbers are your "partial outfits" (i.e. shirts and pants but no shoes) which are also used to create matches. You need at least 2 full outfits to match.
