Soaring Help Button

This free app is intended for use by members of Colorado Springs soaring IPs and their families.
It can be used to get help for yourself or others when time is critical.

The first page is meant for emergency situations. Once you load a primary and secondary emergency contact (such as the commander and director of operations), tapping the "Help" button will initiate a text message to both numbers. The body of the message will say "*** I need Help! ***" and can be altered prior to sending.
Additionally, a button to report an active shooter or suspicious activity are available at the top. All of these buttons must be unlocked prior to use by tapping the "unlock" button, to avoid inadvertently sending messages.

The second page displays a list of resources such as suicide hotlines, chaplains, and first sergeants. Tapping on those will bring up a dialogue box to initiate a phone call or text message.
